Dropped No Power Andis T Outliner Clippers (Dead / Not Working)
Mistake I said mercury but I meant Solder Don’t use Solder, when it gets too hot it will melt
*Dont stick any metal into the coil, it will short, only try to reattached the small wire to the big wire the best you can and secure it electrical tape or strong glue. If you don’t have enough wire to make it work you will need to get another coil setup. Try using donor clippers where the coil is still in good shape and transfer over.

🟨 *Mistake I said mercury but I meant Solder* 🟥 Update don’t put the solder wire in there. Just wrap the wire around the metal piece it disconnected from.

It worked for a while but I think I short it out putting the solder wire into the coil. Don’t do that. Just wrap the disconnected wire around the mental piece and snug it back into its place with some crazy glue.

How did you get the coil out ?
This is totally what I been searching for myself appreciate it
Brooo! This was spot on, I had gotten some andis masters that didn’t turn on out of the box.. I couldn’t return them to Amazon because they’re clippers... I noticed my copper wire broke off so when I wrapped it around like u did, they turned right on, man seriously thank you
Thanks this worked for me it was the black wire to coil connection
Dude this shit helped. I was doing some spring cleaning and found my old clippers and decided to see if I can fix them and this was the solution. That wire was severed and I just looped it around the exposed red wire and BOOM!

Awesome video. Could you do one on the switch assembly? I straight forgot how the metal pieces are installed. Thanks in Advance
Thnx 👍🏾
I’ll give this a try. Haven’t cut my hair myself in years and my trimmers won’t work!
Thank You
Wow you must've dropped it hard cause it completely dislodged the magnet wire. You should also remove the lamination on those copper magnet wire, it has a protective transparent lacquer which protects it from getting shorted while being wrapped on the transformer core. To remove the lacquer use a sharp razor blade and scratch the copper wire like playing the lotto. That was a complicated fix.
mine has stopped working for 6years now still have it, will 4 sho try this.

Did it work?
Thank you brother
Definitely video I was looking for . Thank you
I’ve had my magic clips for about 8 months and today I used them for about 4 haircuts and they were working flawlessly, I then decided to charge them and i plugged the charger in and no blue light appeared, I tried using different outlets and still no power. I then disassembled the clipper and didn’t find any faults in it. Can someone please help me I really don’t want to spend another 250$ on another pair.
You the foking men bro good looking
Why are so many manufacturers sending out broken clippers? Third one, different brand, magically breaks

The cheap thin wire they put is bad. They should use something stronger to prevent it breaking from and drop.
