I did everything accordingly and tighten up the gold fx blade and the andis t outliner tension screw but Even after I oiled them they seem to be pulling the hair and when I pinch the blade with my thumb they tend to stop moving or slowing down

Cutting that extra plastic around the blade is a must if you wish to modify your blade with no complications. I just cut off all that plastic and the tension screw and zeroing was 1000x easier than before. Thanks for the vid.

Makes sense. I've learned this from experience. In fact when you loosen tension to much you get hair pulling. What is the best way to adjust trimmers when on side seems to hit tighter? I find this problem with many andis out of the box.

Hey man, I have same T-Outliners. But my screw on the blades are stuck and they are not coming out? What can I do take out the blade? I wanted to replace it

Tension bar will travel in the path of least resistance w/o a controller which is the purpose of the screw.. the screw is to keep the bar in check..

do I have to adjust tension bar after zero gapping????

Yes. Loosen the tension screw 1/4”.. the turn your trimmer on …if it’s loud, tighten the screw 1/8in. It takes time to manipulate the tension if this is your 1st time. Test it on your arm to make sure it’s not pinching or cutting you. Good Luck

I find that to be a problem with 80% of instructional/how to videos on KZread. Like if someone is watching this most of the time they already know the basics, they don't need you to explain the difference between top and bottom blade and what they're for. Ugh

Yeah,and at the same time,you get peeps making comments like...."you left this out,you left that out." "you forgot to mention this...and that..." But i agree with ya though,but some retards need things to be overly explained to them...lol

You make explained what the function of the tension spring and screw is-not how to properly set the tension. Jive turkey
