I have a Husqvarna Viking and I bought a file that wouldn't show up on my machine. I could see it on my computer, and all my other designs showed up normally. I finally figured out that my machine will not show any files that contain a period in the filename! My guess is that since it is set to read for ".vp3" file types, it assumes the first period in the name is immediately followed by the file type, and if it doesn't say "vp3" after the period it doesn't show the file at all on the machine. My file said something like (2.5). Removed the period (25) and everything works fine. Posting this in the hope of saving someone else hours of their time!

Helping my mother out with her Brothers PR650e - for some reason the Mishima itself is not reading simple text custom files she has made in PE-Design Next. Other imported files coming from her desktop to thumb drive work fine. All of the .PES files are the same and I can’t figure out why the machine itself doesn’t read these custom files she personally makes anymore. Use to work but now it just doesn’t.

Are the files from the desktop to thumb drive older files or brand new ones? Also, how are the .pes files being saved? Are they being saved as version 1.0 or later? Sometimes, the embroidery machine needs an update in order to read files saved in updated software. I'm not sure this is what it is. But, I would start there first.

I have an Baby lock Ellisimo Gold that I have tried everything to get it to see the design on the machine. I have some older designs and they go through with no problem, It just started where it can't read it on the new ones i have digitized myself with Hatch and the ones I just purchased. Both are not working. I have tried both a thumb drive and directly to the machine. Do you have any more ideas of what I need to do, can you please let me know? Thank you

It sounds like your Ellisimo needs a software update. Check the Babylock website to see if it has any updates for your model. Usually, they will have you load the update on your flash drive and then put that in your machine to run the update. I hope this helps.

Hi, I have 3Brothers, 2 PE700 and an 800. When I download a file (no problem with this part) to my computer, it is ALWAYS TOO BIG for my machine. (I use Embrilliance Express). I know that I can't reduce a font that is too big using Express, but I have tried to use fonts that worked fine before and done everything you suggested. I have worked on this problem for hours to no avail. No matter what I do, the red line at the bottom of the page, where it shows the hoop size, shows that the monogram is too big! The red line always reads WAY too big, like 19 X 6. Think it is the software? I have notified Embrilliance twice; they finally texted me back and wanted to know the problem. I want to buy the full software version someday, but not before I learn to use what I have. PS I love your channel!

There are only a small handful of free embroidery softwares that allow you full use of the software. The non ability to change font size is a real problem. But, you could potentially download the free trial of embird (or a similar program ), resize the font, and save it as a pes. Or, you could just purchase a single month subscription to an editor like sewnet. I think the cheapest plan is like $10. I hope you are able to get the problem resolved soon. If you press and hold the icon, it should bring up a menu. You have to tap unzip to unlock the zip file. Then, all your documents should be available.

I have a se600 and I can’t get my file uploaded what I’m doing wrong ?

You don't upload files to an SE600. For the most part, it is plug n play. Make sure your file is saved as a PES and in the most compatible version to your machine. You can check what version 1.0 or 2.0+ by going into your settings on the embroidery machine and checking. From there, you should be able to stitch out.

@@user-dl3md6iq2o You cannot upload the logo as a jpeg or pgn or gif. It has to be converted to an embroidery file using embroidery software. Then, you can save it as a PES, which is the kind of file the embroidery machine can read. You can sew clothing with the SE600 by removing the embroidery module.

OK, here it goes. I have a Brother PE:780D. I made my files on Sew What Pro and I have downloaded files to my usb and when I go to insert usb file into my embroidery machine it shows images. But when I look to press start button it's red light is still on and on the screen it says ( cannot sew from this screen) I did save it as ( save as ) and put in a file. I have used files that were installed on machine and they do embroider, but any files I have saved in my pc files will not work. Never had this happen before. Hope I explained this well !!!

It sound like this is one of the older embroidery machine models where you have to download the design to the embroidery machine before stitching it out. This is what I got from the Brother website for this error message on your model. "After selecting a design, be sure to press the pocket with the arrow pointing up Image to bring the design into the machine." Hope this helps.
