Been watching all your vids over the past few days and it’s kept me on KZread for hours 😂 I must say on a nice calm day that’s a lovely cruise down to the sea even if there’s too much swell at sea at least you can take the boat out , I used to commercially fish for bass at Ramsgate 20 years ago didn’t miss it but I do now !!quality keep up the good work

Thanks very much, glad you’re enjoying the channel! Yes, the estuary is beautiful, even if the fish are hard to find, the trip to the sea and back makes it a good day! Tight lines 👍🎣

Well done. Just good to get out again. Better fishing days ahead I am sure. Managed my first trip of the year on 29 April. Small tide 3.8m so not expecting much but had some nice Pollack and fluked a 5.8lb cod on mackerel feathers - so you never can tell with fishing! Look forward to your updates. That bait resource looks fantastic and camera work was just fine 👍

Another cracking video, it's nice to hear that you are a military veteran as well, I served Her Majesty in the 3rd Royal Tank Regiment, best job I ever had 🤓

Thanks John, with massively shrinking numbers in our Armed Forces it always surprises me how many ex-military there are around hear. Glad you liked the video 👍🎣

Super to be out there. Hoping that the engine issue is fairly minor. Cheers.

Beautiful day out - 't' shirts out at sea - it doesn't get much better. Stick with the baits, next trip you'll be exhausted with all that hauling 👍

Thank you! The engine cover came with the boat when I bought it. It allows me to put seagull spikes on it when I’m moored up without scratching the cowling so I’ve kept it. I don’t think it buy one, I just use it as it came with it 🎣🎣

@@fishingsalcombe cool. Yeah I guess it also protects the cowling from saltwater. I'd look into wether it affects airflow tho ? For the engine fuel mixture ?

It’s mesh at the back over the air intake so no issues there👍
