Oh to be in England now that April is here. OK it's May but that fine poet surely could not have envisioned a more perfect pre high summer day? Like your style supporting Veterans Baits. I live in Australia as I type but am English. As beautiful as the waters are here, nothing beats the morning in your vid. Cheers😊

Greetings from Sydney Australia.Just found your channel and look forward to watching your videos.Nothing would annoy me more than having to wait for tides to launch my boat. I have subscribed.

Welcome to the channel mate. I know what you mean about the tides but, like most things with boating, it’s a compromise. Deep water moorings in my area need a tender to get out to, slip facilities are limited and crowded. I’m limited by tides but have the convenience of a walk on mooring. Hope you’re fairing better south of the equator but here the weather has been more of a limiting factor than the tides this year. We’re waiting for a good spell late season! Thanks for subscribing 👍👍🎣🎣

@@fishingsalcombe Thanks.I understand your woes. It’s getting crowded worldwide from what I understand especially weekends.I fish weekdays on my days off and fish all year round. A lot of the time it’s only me at the boat ramp or 1 or 2 others already out there judging by the trailers in the parking lot. Thanks for having me on board.👍

Well done, nice video. Just so nice to watch what guys like you get up to on your boat fishing. Much better than watching tv. I thought I recognised the pontoon before you stated your location. Often pop to the ice cream shed in the car park. 🎉 Keep ‘em coming 😊

When is this East blow ever going to end!? Weather beautiful but not for fishing! Lovely video despite the tricky fishing conditions. I know you don't like Pollack but if decent sized, filleted skinned, brined and hot smoked they are as good as smoked haddock imho. Nice teaser at the end by the way. Very intriguing.... 👍

Thanks mate, there are two main creeks in the estuary, South Pool and Frogmore. Both are really scenic (but tidal!) with lots of little bays to find shelter👍👍🎣🎣

Nice video mate I will subscribe, I'd love to join you down that coast one day if there's launch site I'm based in South wales but looking to exsplore this summer always wanted to do the south coast beautifull waters and costal lines. I have a sea trooper with a 60hp

Thanks Bud, for the Kingsbridge estuary there is a tidal slip at Kingsbridge with easy parking or a near 24hr slip in Salcombe but parking can be an issue in summer. Your boat and engine should easily be capable of getting to some good marks if the weather is favourable. Get in touch with me on instagram if you do head this way. Tight lines 👍🎣

Strange my advice on a lifejacket doesn't appear in your comments section, I really appreciate your video but truly wish an ex service chap like as your goodself would promote to the world the safety aspects of boating single handedly. It's obvious your choice.

Thanks for your feedback, I do appreciate all comments. I see your previous comment so I’m not sure why you’re not seeing it? I have quite specific reasons for not routinely wearing a life jacket but the reasons are too detailed to put down in a comment reply. I’ll put a video out in the next couple of weeks just about the issue of life jackets. Thanks for watching and when I do manage to put the vid up please have a look and I’d be very happy to hear your thoughts and engage further. All the best.

I really appreciate your response also, I'm sure you won't take a trip when sea is angry anyways. Glad you're enjoying yourselves as the sea is the best therapy for everyone. If you need to unwind a Tad try watching an older gentleman Donny Wilcox up the Highlands in his small RIB . His exploits appear pure bliss . Cheers
