The Love Symbol is the symbol P took when he legally changed his name to get around his current contract with Warner Bros at the time… around 1996 or maybe 1997. The symbol is full of imagery from the male and female symbols to the trumpet and number 7 . It’s fully represents his psyche. PS do yourself the favor and checkout the full show without the narration. You can find it online. IMHO this documentary of the show doesn’t allow for the experience of just watching the performance.

Wait..Google Prince and tell me who's young career was more impressive. He was opening for The Rolling Stones as a TEENAGER! He had already started an entire music scene that produced other GOATS before that!

Prince's symbol was worn by Chris Rock on his Netflix Comedy Special when he dissed Will Smith. I remember back in the day to watch Purple Rain at the theater. That movie is corny in some ways but awesome at the same time. Who can't enjoy a good Prince song? He changed his name to that symbol one year on his birthday. I don't remember the year?

@@TheManager22 it originally started as a big F U to a label or distributer or something, then he changed his name to the symbol. It's definitely got a mash up of the male an female symbols which make sense considering he's pretty androgynous, not sure about the other aspects of it. Pretty cool regardless. Not gonna lie I did Google it originally 😂
