They wanted him to lip sync the performance and he said "no, I'm Prince I play live". There was a real sense of danger with all that rain and the electricity running through that stage. The performance was heroic!!

The best halftime show ever! There will never be anyone as talented as Prince! Just gone too soon.

The #1 halftime show EVER. You can't beat Purple Rain in the rain!!! And that's his personal stage. Most halftime shows are only partly live. His whole show was live music. They were so worried for him with all those live guitars in that downpour. HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRINCE 💜💜. Yes those were fake doves. Prince had 2 pet doves named Majesty and Divinity.

I saw him when i was around 13 in 1985 on the purple rain tour in San Francisco. A friends parents drove us. It was BATSHIT insane. Sheila E. opened. Imagine seeing a bonifide music legend in his most famous tour doing his most famous songs. And at that time people would be like but he's short, wears heels, lace, is he a girl? Why do yo like him? They didn't understand. Even as kids we knew greatness and decades later, us kids were spot on. We knew something funky.

I would say this woman she's British is like a cross between Prince Kate Bush Bowie & Beck The best UK original artist to come out Prepare yourself for FKA Twigs Track Two Weeks. Beautiful video stunning vocals She falls into all the great female artists Grace Jones Bjork Kate Bush Lauren Hill Azealia Banks Missy of course Mary J Blige god so many more I love strong original females artists doing that

3 great Prince tracks to review 2 live 1 studio all from the 80s Search You Tube Prince Purple Rain First Avenue 1983 This was the first outing of this track pre the Purple Rain Movie came out 84 Yes this was the first ever outing of this song and if you listen to the recording a lot of this recording was used in the film itself Then you can do the live review of Prince MTV Awards 1987 Sign O The Times Third track from his album that came after Purple Rain Track Pop Life Enjoy your Prince journey

And two gems from the 80s Prince She's Always In My Hair and Track called 101 You see people think When Doves Cry Purple Rain there is so much great music from that era

I agree... lady cab driver, international lover, the whole of SOTT , when 2 r in luv, life so nice , Mountains the list goes on... purple rain is a incredible album but it is not his best work ... rip to the one an only goat Prince

Oh and forgot my fav track from Sign O The Times Track called It Brilliant instrumentation funky very honest in lyrics all done by Prince Way way way ahead of its time Has atmosphere Love Purple Rain but Sign O The Times another level

Nice reaction. The music speaks for itself - Jimi Hendrix, Bob Dylan, Ike and Tina Turner, Credence Clearwater Revival, Foo Fighters, Florida A&M U Marching Band … oh, and some of Prince’s hits. It’s funny. The “normal” wardrobe matches the host team, the Miami Dolphins, orange and teal, although they did not actually make it to the Super Bowl.

Another great reaction! This is my favorite halftime show of all the ones I've seen. Prince is absolutely incredible! He also did a performance before the Superbowl at the press conference. It was just as good and he had some killer solos in that performance as well! The name of the video is "2007 SB Press Conference/Performance" It was supposed to be a regular press conference before the show with reporters asking questions, but instead he brought his whole band and dancers onstage and completely rocked the show!!! Would love to see you react to it if you could?!

Love your Prince reactions! Happy Birthday to the best that ever was💜 This is considered to be the greatest half-time performance. They even have a mini documentary about it

And one from 2012 Mary J Blige & Prince Nothing Compares To You They were big friends he supported her in the background A beautiful rendition And may as we throw in another mate of Prince Missy Elliot WTF I have seen interviews where Missy bugs up Prince & who is on this track Pharrel and who is he big mates with Chuck D Public Enemy and Prince Enjoy

And two Missy Elliot tracks Lose Control & Throw It Back and throw in One Minute Man She's like the rap version of Grace Jones she just does her own thing

Lifelong Prince fan again two songs both brilliant first The Ladder from 85 written with his Dad and from 87 The Cross and just remembered tracks Ballad Of Dorothy Parker Strange Relationship & Starfish and Coffee Loads go for Purple Rain for me Sign O The Times a effing Genius album All 80s all brilliant

And another from 89 if you like The Beatles you love this Tears For Fears Sowing The Seeds of Love Hopefully you'll get a chance to react

Awesome performance! You have to take into consideration everything is wet! He's playing a wet guitar with wet hands. Plus walking around in heels on a slippery stage. Plus playing live guitars in the rain....pretty dangerous. Plus all parts of the stage are pretty narrow, so any slip could be disastrous. He was told about the rain earlier in the day and all he said was 'Can you make rain harder?' Hero! And the marching band too...wow!

Oh there's a live version of the Kelis track but the video is superb

Oh two further tracks from Prince back in the day The guy was so ahead of his time check out the track America Live 1985 and Make Up which I think was recorded as a demo and never released until after his death It's on the postimous album Originals Truly was the best

Hey two Great US Singers Kelis Track Acapella and the some say controversial Azealia Banks Track Liquorice and Track Chasing Time and probably throw in Track 1991 Hopefully you can react but even if you can't some bloomin good music for the headphones But would love some Reaction Channels review these Cos all you get is 70s Rockers Bohemian Rhapsody and fekkin Madonna Anyways even if you can't get traction with the channel some superb tracks
