Hands down the greatest halftime show and it ain’t even close

It's never rained at a Superbowl Half Time before. On the day of the game it was like a typhoon in Miami. It's on record that the producer of the show phoned Prince up in the aftrenoon and said, "It's raining really hard out there, are you going to be safe to play? Prince's reply; "Can you make it rain harder?".

Your attitude going in was jacked up bro. You just witnesses an absolute legend fucking killing it. His performance, charisma, and musicianship is unmatched. He played four different wireless guitars in that set in the pouring rain. he incorporated a marching band. He didn’t promote anything. He played and loved and performed. Take a step back and respect my friend.

Hi! The song Prince sang after “Baby I’m A Star” is “Proud Mary”. I think the woman singing with him is Shelby Johnson. It’s originally by Creedence Clearwater Revival (CCR). But the most famous version is probably the one of Ike & Tina Turner. Nobody comes close to Tina singing and performing it!⚡️

Just another day for Prince

Prince is the ultimate musician, he never disappoints live and no lip syncing .

Prince's hair didnt look like dog shit.....IT was LAID! He didn't play about his HAIR!

You forgot Foo Fighters and CCR in the thumbnail. Shout out to "baddest band in the land" FAMU marching 100 band come to play in the rain with a 350 piece ensemble. Shout out to God for providing the rain. Only time it ever rained at a halftime show, of course. Magic seems to happen when Prince is around. Shout out to the twins for not slipping in those 8inch heels. And to the most nervous guy at this show, the man who had to hold two power cords together because they came loose during stage setup and would no longer stay. He held those cables for the entire 12min concert. All instruments and mics are live. 3 different electric guitars and you can hear distortion especially on Purple Rain solo. Still brilliant and what a show to remember

Hey. 1st I'm really happy that you finally watched this; the BEST halftime performance ever ! With that said, dude, you talked too much. You probably could have figured out some of what you were asking on your own. Plus you missed those amazing sceams, etc. I do see some of the comments and they were very informative. i'm not a big fan of Prince just because my music knowledge is very limited. Only listen to my favs other than the radio hits and whatever my friends and family are listening to. So always up for extending my music expertise. Only know classics from Prince plus some live performance here and there. So watchinh for the first time with you. Also not the vine reference.
