I actually live 1km from their childhood house. I was lucky enough to see Barry Gibb in concert in 2013 too. Absolutely incredible gift to mankind
“When you’ve got brothers singing together it’s like an instrument no one else can buy”. From their documentary- How can you mend a broken heart, which I highly recommend!

It gives me such a buzz to see young reactors discover the amazing Bee Gees. I'd love you to do some of their 60s songs like Massachusetts, To Love Somebody or Gotta Get a Message to you to appreciate the contributions of Barry, Robin and Maurice to their sound.

I love watching you as you're listening to this beautiful music for the first time! I have to admit I'm almost jealous of the experience of discovering the incredible sound of the BeeGees for the very first time! I'm 64, and I can't remember when I wasn't listening to their luscious harmonies! Keep listening to them - there's so much more to discover!! 💕

Are you ready for this huge rabbit hole? The Gibb brothers are one of the most successful trios in music history. Superb songwriters, singers and have been singing since they were little kids. They have written music for so many successful artists. Their music was used for one of the biggest films in 1978, Saturday Night Fever. Disco!!! Check out; You should be dancing, the video shows their little brother, Andy, on stage with them. Sadly, both twins, Maurice and Robyn have passed away. Only the older brother, Barry, is still with us

The first I heard this song in the 70s, I cried....Their intro harmonies are magnificent.
Rip to Maurice and Robin. Barry (Lead singer)still out there keeping the music he created with his brothers. This music won't return. This talent is rare.

Loved your reaction 🤩 no one can compare with them 🤔 there voices are pure magic, best ever there will never be harmonies like them ever again 🤩
I grew up with this music and it really warms my heart to see a whole new generation fall in love with it the same way I did back then. Thanks for doing your part of keeping their music alive. Check out Nights on Broadway from their 1975 appearance on The Midnight Special, I promise you will not be disappointed. Just make sure it’s the live version and not the one with the studio version dubbed over it.

It's really nice to meet a person from a younger generation who is enjoying the music of the Bee Gees. I so glad you're listening, enjoying and paying attention to the details. Well done.
When you are finished loving this version of the BeeGees ....you have to try their great stuff from the mid 60's and early 70's...you'll love it too.
Probably the best love song ever written. It brings tears to my eyes every time I hear it, which has probably been at least a million times ❤️
And imagine, they all sang beautifully and Robin was tone deaf. He overcame so many obstacles and was still brilliant
Much respect for u ,thank u for those words .the BeeGees always were same ,something out of this crazy world.Amezingly ,Awesome ,the bes .thank u .
I love this song. Barry said it's his favorite ❤️
When Barry was 9 and got a guitar for Christmas and the twins were 6 and got toy guitars. They sang and their harmonies just happened. They were amazed and would go to bed and sit under their sheets talking about being famous singers.
Still watching the beegees today ,2/5/23 .thank u fir being so respectful and awesome. u are very nice ,u know how to appreciate the beegees songs. Thank u ,God bless u always ❤️ 🙂
This sure brings back memories of when my mom would put their albums on when I was growing up we would be dancing to their music. They are so amazing their harmonies are so beautiful
NO group in the history of music lasted over 4 decades, has over 1000 songs in their catalogue, so saturated the industry that they were "banned" from radio, kept relevant by writing top hits and producing for top artists such as Diana Ross, Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton & Kenny Rogers, Dionne Warwick...., jumped back into the forefront 30 years after they began....You have hit a gold mine! The history of this band is incredible. Enjoy the journey!

Family harmonies are far and above just groups of people in a band. No matter how beautiful their voices are. Brothers, sisters, family....the harmony between Barry, Robin and Maurice is magical.
This most iconic love song everf!
absolutely love your reactions to the incredible Bee Gees ..they sound like pure silk or a floating cloud lol and by the way your speaking voice is very Barry White .. fantastic also 😀
Imagine being about 9 or 10 when you first heard this. Greatest harmonizers ever, IMHO.
The smile on your face while you listen to them is everything!!
They have been singing n song writing since Barry was 9 n the twins Maurice n Robin were 6, in the 60s look them up, their catalog is endless...they have written hundreds of songs for other artists...luv them so much, the twins are gone now...look up Andy's songs their younger brother, all 4 are super talented..
I'm 54 yrs old & this has been my top favorite Bee Gees song since I was 10 years old. My older cousin (by 3 years) had just bought the soundtrack album to Saturday Night Fever. Neither of us had seen the movie yet; as we were too young for the R rating, but I clearly remember the double album had still shots of movie scenes. She played that record over & over & over again for hours. The next day, I went to the store & bought my own copy. Awhile later, my elementary school held a dance in the cafeteria right after school was let out. I was in the 5th grade & a boy I knew (6th grader) asked me to 'slow dance" to this song. I was my first time ever dancing with a boy! He didn't ask me to dance because he liked me (in that way). Rather his mom was friends with mine & also cousin's mom (my auntie), so we all hung out together. He knew I had that album & that this was my favorite song so he asked me to dance. I can still picture it in my head; the two of us facing each other, my arms extended out with hands on his shoulders while his arms were out & hands on my hips as we swayed side to side while turning in slow circles on the dance floor...so awkward - LOL! :-D

@@RadJarrettTheIntrovert Good evening from a brand-new subscriber in New Jersey. Andy Gibb (1958-88), the younger brother of Barry, Maurice, and Robin Gibb--the name "Bee Gees" is short for "Brothers Gibb"--had a few big hits in the late 1970s. Three of his songs you should check out are "I Just Want To Be Your Everything", "Love Is Thicker Than Water", and "Shadow Dancing".
Always loved the Bee Gees. i was amused to find out that before moving to Australia they had lived very close to where I was living at the time. Never met them though.

You must react to "Staying Alive" & "Night Fever" by the Bee Gees next. Both were #1 and "Night Fever" was #1 for 8 weeks in 1978 making it the biggest song of that year.
Nights on Broadway ! Tragedy , Fannie Be Tender, Jive Talking ,For Whom the Bell Tolls !! These ara must ! The sound is all the harmony of the three brothers ! Definetley Worth checking out their catalog !
Musical geniuses!!!🌹🎵🎵 There's a great documentary out, called How can you mend a broken heart. It's a documentary on the Bee Gees, I recommend it highly. You need to know about this family. For 45 years, I have been a Bee Gees, fanatic. At 10 years old. Their list of songs goes on for miles. The producers and director that did Bohemian Rhapsody, are now doing the Bee Gees movie. HBO look up that documentary, it will give you quite an insight into their lives. Wonderful reaction, continue down this road . I guarantee, you won't be sorry.

W up listening to my parents uncles and aunties and older cousins partying to gets music like this. It was beautifully written music with incredible musicianship and sung and performed by master story tellers. It is indeed a lost art form.l we still have a few artists today keep thing things alive aka Bruno / silk sonic
Barry, Robin and Maurice had an much younger brother who had a solo career singing with all the fame that went with it. Andy Gibb dies 1988. You need to check out some of Andy Gibb's songs since much of it was written with or by Barry Gibb and you can hear the Bee Gees singing back up.
