Y'all have to react to "Too Much Heaven", it 's absolutely exquisite. The brothers harmonies and Barry's falsetto are on full display in this one, it's sheer perfection.

What younger people might not get, is that the “auto-tuning” style sound they have is legit harmony. They did this before computers! Let alone auto-tuning!

Damn, your comment made me realize that there are probably people out there who consider ‘harmonizing’ like this to be autotune. On topic: as a rapper growing up with lots of different musical genres I can say the BeeGees deserve more love than they get.

As a child born in the 70s I know all the words. This song is a true classic. Love it!

This song was on the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack. It’s hard to overemphasize how huge that album was when the movie came out.

The Bee Gees were awesome, plain and simple. Make fun if you want, but they were GREAT songwriters, period.

I will never apologize for loving the Bee Gees. The groove in that band was amazing, Nights On Broadway (do that one!) being a prime example. And the brothers were incredible songwriters.

Don't let the "disco" tag drive your thoughts about the Bee Gees, they are so much more and from the early years of melodic, acoustic based music to their later day mix of pop, soul and soft rock, the brothers Gibb were heavyweight musicians and their undeniable way with melody and harmony vocals are truly a thing of rare magic. Their catalog sits proudly, right next to my Slayer, AC/DC and Zep albums!

These brothers wrote 3 number #1 hit songs in one afternoon, “Too Much Heaven”, “Tragedy “ and Shadow Dancing for their brother Andy. They are simply amazing!

Nah that Bee gees and Nickelback comparison ain't it, these dudes are legends and before my time but the impact they had with their music and have written for other artists is historic. They were literally going back and forth with their younger brother Andy Gibb for the number 1 spot on billboard multiple times in a row

I'm a metal head but I also know good music when I hear it. The Bee Gees are one of the best from the seventies . Too Much Heaven or Love You Inside and Out are great ones.

“Too Much Heaven” is the ONE people should check when first hearing the BeeGees, a time stopping chart topper for good reason. 😉

I think we can all agree regardless of our own personal tastes that the BeeGees are legendary song writers and performers.

Check them out live. They sound just as good on stage as in the studio. Absolute professionals. I was always a heavy metal kid, but those Bee Gees are undeniably great.

I love The Bee Gees. Unironically. They wrote great songs in two different genres and wrote hits for other artists time and time again.

The Bee Gees are just one of the many bands I grew to love because of my pops. Been laughed at many times for my love of the Bee Gees but this metalhead will always have a place for them in my Playlist

Bro Bee Gees are top tier. They've got hits going back to the 60s and struck gold with falsetto/disco which was a booster rocket to their already incredible rise to fame. They deserve it all too. Three (4) brothers with golden voices and a knack for writing a song. I'd love to see more!

These guys are amazing . Hip hop and rap lover and I have 0 shame in loving these old classic . If anything we need to appreciate these guys who made true artful , soulful , true to the core music.

Growing up as a 70 kid you heard this play it every wedding

In my youth, I always dismissed The Bee Gees as “Disco” and The Beach Boys as “songs about surfing and cars”.. Then I heard this tune and the album “Pet Sounds” and these guys and the Beach Boys are just fantastic talents you don’t sell 100’s of millions of Albums by just being a “fad” and not delivering the goods on album and LIVE. I dig metal,blues,and country, and classical and bluegrass and rock and roll, this tune is fantastically arranged, performed and written and produced..Good is good no matter what style.

I am 59 Years old and graduated High School in 1982. My Favorite group was the Bee Gees, and my favorite singer was Elvis. The 70's and 80's was a Golden era of Music. On the Radio we would hear great songs from many Genres. The other station we would get was the Oldies Station that played Music from the 50's and 60's. The Artists would cross Genres in the 70's and 80's and write songs for and perform with each other. It was all about the Music. The artists would sound at least as good Live if not better than in the Studio. It was also before Autotune that makes everyone try to sound the same. Great music is great music. Period. I don't care what styles are your favorite, one should still be open to and appreciate high art. This is extremely high art. The comparison to "television sitcoms" is actually a very astute one. While the Bee Gees themselves didn't write any (that I am aware of), their influence was all through the 70's and since they had such a huge presence on the Billboard charts, getting something "Bee Gees" like was almost a surefire way to create something that would be popular. The three-part harmonies are simply astounding, and they deserve all the praise they have earned.

Pure talent. All four of the Brothers Gibb were amazing singers.

I'm a longtime heavy metal, hard rock, and progressive rock fan, and a grown man, very secure in who I am, who *loves* the Bee Gees, including this song!🙂 Good music is good music, no matter the genre! I love beautiful ballads and harmonies. Some hard rock, metal, and prog-rock bands do them well too! 🙂

My sister and I are huge hard/prog rock fans and we loooove the Bee Gees! Such a guilty pleasure and they absolutely ruled the charts in the disco era deservedly. If you really want to hear their stripped down talent without all the lush production, listen to some of their 60s work. You will be blown away by their unmistakeable talent.

Next, take a crack at Too Much Heaven. All 3 brothers (Barry, Robin & Maurice (pronounced Morris) are in falsetto mode, and Barry's is off the charts!!! ❤❤❤

When I saw the thumbnail "Lost in Vegas-Beegees" I just had to see it. Beegees is top tier songwriting. Back then I completely hated the falsetto voice and the Beegees as such but I've come to appreciate it for what it is. Top songwriting. In exactly the same categorie and same era, and something you should check out too, is ABBA. Same top tier songwriting. Hated them too back then :)
