You just witnessed the greatest vocalist of all time. He’s from Kazakhstan, sings in 15 different languages, plays multiple musical instruments and is currently working on his PhD in music. He’s been training since the age of 5, has a 6-8 octave range (depending on who you ask) has absolute pitch, and is an amazingly humble man. He sings every genre (even raps) He has many recent performances, but I would highly recommend “Sinful Passion “ 2018 and then "Stranger" 2021, "Ikanaide" 2021, "Adagio" 2017, "Daybreak" at Bastau 2017. Each performance will leave you stunned.

The Best Singer Ever Walked on this PLANET is DIMASH QUDAIBERGEN... period

I'm from the UK and am old enough to have lived through the greatest artists in the world and believe me even I'm happy to say that Dimash is the greatest vocalist in living memory. He sings in 13 languages and covers most genres from opera to rap, usually combining genres within the same song. I'm afraid once you hear him your benchmark for music will never be the same again. I'd suggest Golden, Stranger, Adagio, Your Love, Be With Me, Screaming, We Are One (all sung in English) or Olympico, Sinful Passion, I Miss You, there's loads more but those will get you started. Btw, you thought the Digital Show production was great, you should see his official music videos, they are a work of art in themselves as he's an incredible actor too.

@@LeahReuben He learned the Mandarin song in one week during the 2017 competition even though he only spoke a few travel/survival words so he could get to the Chinese competition, I Am A Singer. He's smart, he's quick and he works very hard. Throw in all that talent and it is magical.

I too am from the UK and am now 77 yrs old and like you can categorically say I have never ever witnessed a performer like Dimash. His voice is beyond compare and I feel honoured and thankful to be alive at the same time that he is on earth. For first time reaction, better to recommend the earlier video with the scenes from the Creators movie behind, actually. They’re the same audio, but the sound was mixed better in the original video. The “whales” version is much more muted. That ending hits harder in the original, too. 😜

I sit for hours on a night listening to and watching reactions of Dimash I just can’t get enough. Dimash is a work of art in every performance he does, there are some 180+ songs he does to learn just how great and unreal he is. Next month he is scheduled for a concert in Dusseldorf; and like his others it should be an early sell-out. Seeing him live is a religious experience, he is even better live than in videos. 27 year old Legend. Found him 5+ yrs. ago and listen to him sing daily, and he still shocks and amazes me every time.

Welcome from the UK. Loved your reaction. This was from his digital concert during the pandemic. We were treated to the some fantastic songs old & new, not that his songs ever feel old, and epic visuals. I've not been lucky enough YET!! to see him live, but hopefully that time will come. Lets say I'm of the older generation and his voice has helped me through some rough times. He has songs that seem to fit all emotions. Great reaction! Dimash is from Kazakhstan. He was born in 1994 and has been studying music since he was 5 years old. This video was from his Digital Concert which he did during the pandemic lockdown when he couldn't do live concerts. He is excellent at expressing the emotions of every song that he sings! He is also a really nice person (as you can see from little video clips all over the internet and from his interviews.) All of his songs are good! I will pick a few to recommend: "Adagio" from the I Am a Singer show in China 2017. (This was a multi-week competition between established Chinese singers and Dimash was invited as I believe the first foreigner and youngest contestant. It was from this competition that he became well known throughout the world.) Also "Stranger" New Wave version and "Ikanaide" from the Tokyo Jazz Festival which is sung in Japanese and means "Don't go" or "Don't Leave". There are usually English subtitles for the songs. I look forward to watching further reactions!

Dimash is an angel who fell into music at the age of 5 and his recognized humility gives him the right to give his Emi 2022 award to his grandmother.....I admire this humble boy I am in Vancouver Canada.......I am French (France) I saw Dimash for the first time in 2017 and I cried my eyes out…….the lyrics are beautiful and intense…… Dimash’s version is sublime…… He was a competitor in the talent shows……in China 2017 and I don’t know about the others after him…..but they all disappeared…!!!!!….hahaha….!!!!!. final second…… I watched over 50 reactions.…singer……vocal coach…..and other musicians… the men and women mostly have goosebumps……and open mouths…..some are ready to cry….. at the highest note…..the whistle…..one fell from his chair, another had pencils in his hand and suddenly threw them behind him over his shoulder…they all said that Dimash is an alien…..and one left for 5 seconds and came back with a deep breath……and the other said “I quit”…!!!!!…. My favorite version is the same song with the SOS special effects…it was during the 2021 confinement…..he ends the song on his knees…!!!!!…He wears a dark red suit…..I like the lighting…….the drummer….the wings of a bird……everything is perfect….. Between the musicians, the choirs, the special effects in the back……it’s phenomenal for an exceptional singer…!!!!…on the musical arrangements, he has two younger brothers, Raushan and Abilmansur, who are also musicians, composer, guitarist, pianist and drummer. STORY: This song (SOS Terrien en distress) is part of Starmania, it's a rock opera, music by Michel Berger (France), lyrics by Luc Plamondon (Quebec, Canada).......two of the best.. .. ... The show was presented for the first time on April 10, 1979 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris. Michel composed especially for the first performer Daniel Balavoine for his special range. Sadly, Daniel died at the age of 33 in 1986 in a helicopter accident during a humanitarian mission in Mali. The second, magnificently interpreted by Grégory Lemarchal, in 2004, he became known to the general public by winning the fourth season of the show Star Academy. Sadly, he died of cystic fibrosis at the age of 23 in 2007. Dimash took over, it was “him” who chose it when he saw Grégory perform it, respect to Dimash for having preserved the linguistic origin of this work. Dimash performs this song phonetically……. In May 2018, Dimash performed at the 71st Cannes Film Festival (France). This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera STARMANIA 1978 (first singer: Daniel balavoine), well known in French-speaking countries and it is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight in 2017. In 2017 Dimash received a wildcard for the “The Singer” competition in China. He was the youngest participant ever (22 years old). Foreign participants were actually forbidden at that time. The director ignored the ban, believing Dimash would only stay 1 or 2 episodes and then go home. Only professional, award-winning singers participate. Nobody knew or heard Dimash before and he had to start first ... and after his first song "SOS" Dimash captured the hearts of over 600 million viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood in front of his door. The Chinese organizers planned... but Dimash came, sang and stayed ... for the next 3 years in China.
