You know what's amazing about this guy? He pushed his way through fame, with that style , no one else would have been able to do this. the choice of songs he do, are peculiar and MANY MANY people don't like this kind of songs/music. But he didn't give a crap, he is so good, that even though you don't like this genre of music you will listen to it just because its him singing..

The only thing that can top a Dimash performance is a newer Dimash performance. ;)

He is not the composer of this song, but he rearranges it and revives it for a new life. You just bought a one-way ticket for the biggest vocal roller coaster ride in your life. Dimash is like a bullet with a shifted center. He enters through the ears and eyes, passes through the brain, pierce the heart and stuck into the soul. You even can't imagine what is capable to do Dimash with his voice. He is simple the greatest. The one and only on the planet. If you continue to react to him, you will soon become convinced of it. He is making some pretty 'extreme' music and breaking мusic impossibility and all rules with his unbelievable vocal techniques and his 6 octaves. His ability to mixes pop, rock, opera, rap, hip hop and r&b music, in his own unique way makes him a favorite singer to fans of any style of music. Dimash is a God of EXTREME VOCALS. He sings whatever he wants and the way he wants to. And he always slays. You will be blown away by the other his performances.

@Valya Todorova, perfectly said! He never fails to capture my heart and soul, I’ve been a Dear since the I am Singer in 2017 and haven’t been a day without listening to since! He’s the best in the world in my opinion(along with millions of others) I love watching people react to Dimash who’ve never heard him before, although it’s hard to believe there’s anyone who hasn’t listened to him, I realize there are still plenty. #dimash #dears

I pretty much spend 3 days in bed listening and watching and crying my eyes out when I first heard Dimash. It was cathartic. My frozen heart opened.

Hi! For your information, SOS d'un terrien en détresse is a french song interpreted first by Daniel BALAVOINE for the musical Starmania in 78. It was written by luc PLAMANDON and composed by Michel BERGER especially for him. Dimash really gave justice to this really difficult song which is a classic in France.

Welcome to the magic world of Dimash! He is was born in a family of professional singers and is indeed classically trained. Katrinka, you hit a homerun by being introduced to the Mozart of our generation. Dimash chooses his music carefully. Many of the songs have backstories as you will discover he takes his hard work and gifts (he has admitted he has extra long vocal cords even though he is 6'3" tall. The CCP agents are currently on the watch given the pandemic they accidentally let loose (optimistic?) and the 2020 Singer competition going on so you have to pause the video regularly as you did here Dimash does not trust the US to try and tell him what to do therefore he is ignored by our music media for the most part, especially after he went on 2019 The World's Best and he withdrew after being the prohibitive favorite after 3 rounds when he discovered the producers lied to him. He turned down millions in prizes and endorsements because he does not sing for fame or glory except in his own words "to glorify God" per his own statements (I am not trying to push religion); thus he produces all his music and only trusts a few. I recommend if you review Opera 2 you either mirror it (not hard, just google if you don't know how) or play it black and white. The Gloria Wu Channel has all the back stories of his music. Be sure to watch them with subtitles also.

Lisa Roberts I actually have watched dozens of interviews of him (out of work for first time in life) and he has stated in response to why he hasn’t done much in the US he wants total production control and that is not likely to happen in the US. He won’t even let them tell him what to wear and that is his words. He recently stated he is looking at doing an internship in Los Angeles for his upper graduate degree. And the producers of The Worlds Best did lie to him. He told them up front he would not compete against children and then the show tried to spin it to make it look soft that his culture precluded him upon his discovery when they knew it up front. Daniyela surprised him when she told him she was competing against him in that round. I am a dear to nth degree but I call it carefully. His latest We Are One is terrific and important but Dimash’s Chinese team made it in such a way to try and make China look better than a politically savvy genius musician would like edit in such a way if he knew how China has acted regarding transparency of the CCP virus aka Covid-19. If you google articles on Dimash even last year there were expressed worries China would use Dimash as a propaganda tool. I am pulling for him to come to USA and conquer and not have to rely on China who pays him top dollar. Context is important. Don’t believe a lot of spin you read. I thought this out carefully and stand by my statements unless someone points out evidence otherwise. And thanks to Dimash for making isolation much more tolerable.

Dimash is unlike any singer/performer that you'll come across in your lifetime. His ability to sing any style of music (including Ukrainian Folk & Chinese Opera) to top professional standards is unparalleled. His vocal range (6+ octaves) his vocal flexibility (being able to sing ethnic music) is frankly incredible. As one professional voice coach said, "There are many great singers in the world all with different qualities. But Dimash is the only singer I've ever heard who has Everything." There are several Opera Singers/Coaches who are going through his catalogue of videos and reacting to them. Mainly because every performance he gives is completely different. He will surprise and shock you every time you watch him. He is already a Megastar in Russia and China, it's only a matter of time before the same happens in the West. 😊🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿👍

Instead of watching it over and over, you could watch his performance of the same song from Singer 2017 Ep.#1. If you go to Gloria Wu's Y.Tube channel, besides Eng.subs she also has an intro which gives the background of the song.

The way you go about trying to or attempting to analise the Dimash's performance and his voical abilities intrigues me and I find it really of much value. Much of the things you mention I rarely hear from other vocal coaches. Yours seem to be more or much closer to the truth. I like that you use the "fluctuate", which hits home because, as you alluded to, he essentially keeps the standard of his performance at a that high level throughout. He does not waver or get laxed anywhere. His focus is virtually 100% in what he is engaged in. Your comments and reaction covers the spectrum, which I find so pleasantly refreshing. Thank you so much. ❤

If you want to see all of Dimash's range, react to Unforgettable Day at Gakku concert. This man can hit a sustained D8 note. I ultra-strongly recommend this. You haven't heard ANYTHING until you hear his D8 whistle.

@@Katriinka здравствуйте Катринка. Я хотел вас спросить. Я смотрел несколько реакций, людей которые сами поют и являются учителями вокала. И я заметил что в одном месте у вас это 10:19 - 10:20 была реакция на то как в этом месте поёт Димаш. Но ведь в этот момент Димаш не берёт высоких нот. Наоборот он поёт скорее всего своим родным голосом. Что именно в этом месте вызывало у вас и вызывает некую реакцию именно у людей, которые занимаются пением?! Спасибо. Буду признателен за ответ! Dimash tough to beat indeed. but good luck. Dimash named us HIS fan as Dears, so welcome to our tribe so to speak. Dimash's first debut to us was through The Singer series 2017 ((Chines show)) after that he sang Sinful passion this was the cover of the Ukraine band in this he was discovered by the Russian composer the one and only Igor Krutoy since than they were working to gather. Here is my suggestion for you since you can't watch The singer series (copyrights now)) there is at least sinful passion (The Love of Tired Swans, Love is Like a Dream, know, Mademoiselle Hyde, passion and Ogni Pietra , Dimash trio with Lara fabian and Aida Garifullina Ti Amo Cosi, and last but not least your love )) which all the work of the amazing Russian music composer Igor Krutoy.

Besides his vocal gymnastics, singing the high ranges very softly really amazes me, and keep it in perfect tune!!!

You have not finshed to be estonished about Dimash. He performed already so many fantastic songs. You'll be blown away.

Yes Dimash is well known for being a perfectionist and always practising. His mother mentioned hearing him singing at midnight and having to ask him to stop. His university hostel mates also complained of his practising while they tried to sleep 😂 And he has said that he will always have a voice teacher training him.

I will not get tired of hearing this young man with that wonderful gift, I cannot believe that a single human being has so much in himself, passion, emotion, beautiful personality, a great heart, and a pure and unique technique. Love it! Also, a great coincidence and pleasant surprise happened to me Dec 9, in New York, day before the concert. When I was about to enter the NY library I saw Dimash's parents who were also entering, Dimash's younger brother was our translator ... that was a nice meeting..I had some photos with them ....❤

So very awesome! A great reaction and do not feel alone on that last little bit, because I think I speak for most of us that we can just watch it over and over because it is just so crazy. A fairly recent one he did, which you may like is "Your Love." He does it so brilliantly and as always makes singing look like it is so easy. Dimash did not create the song SOS. The original singer /writer was Daniel Balavoine. Dimash did however write and sing Unforgettable Day and Screaming and I believe some others as well. Unforgettable day I think he wrote when he was still a teen.
