You aren't the first to fail in trying to copy Dimash. It helps the rest of us to realize just how extraordinary his singing is. I was a professor in Kazakhstan for 9 years and am now married to a Kazakh woman. We plan to move back soon, as I launch my own online company. I enjoyed your reaction, but you have just scratched the surface of understanding Dimash's capabilities. You will gain a lot of subscribers if you react to more of Dimash's songs, and you will witness many more styles and techniques than he displayed in this song, as great as it is. As you apparently read in his bio, Dimash is the son of professional singers and, thus, was learning to sing while in his mother's womb. Indeed, a reviewer from India made a very insightful comment that he sounds like music is his first language, and I think that could very well be true. He then began singing lessons at age 5, as you noted, and has now begun his Ph.D in music. His range is 6 octaves, and he sings in many different voices, colors, and styles. Every song is different. He plays several instruments and has sung in 12 different languages. A lot of Dimash fans (pegged "Dears" by Dimash because they are dear to him)--especially the female ones--notice his eyes. They are indeed expressive, just as are his hands and the rest of his body. That's a lot of what makes him such a worldwide phenomenon. He relates so well to humanity as a whole. This song barely scratches the surface of what he can do. I trust you will be traveling further into Dimashland in the future. Since you understand Russian, his cover of "Love is Like a Dream" That the Russian Diva Alla Pugachova originally sang is great. Igor Krutoy (composer) plays piano as DIMASH performs, Some RUSSIAN singers that have performed the song stated on TV they won't perform it anymore, as DIMASH's version was so good. I first heard ALLA sing this song in one of her concerts many years ago and(I am Not a Singer) I went around for many months with this song in my head and trying to sing it also, it has been a favorite song for me, but DIMASH takes it to a whole different level. It is one of my favorites by him now.

Some people (not saying the OP) don't officially recognize some of his talents, and just give him a three-octave range. I mean, they are wrong, but I suppose they are entitled to their (wrong) opinion. I myself have heard both the F#1 and the D8, so that's the range I'm going with.

People will fight you online if you say the wrong name, your fans will spend hours watching your videos, opening fan clubs around the world and leaving long comments on KZread with the story of each song. They are stubborn and well prepared. My question was necessary at this point. What made these people so close to him and what does he have that other artists don't? You don't need paid advertising because your fans will make it free. They really love this artist so much that they want to make him known at all costs. Some claim he gave it to him to overcome depression, others say he changed their lives with his music, some fans even believe he is an angel or superhuman. If you say that Michael Jackson had some diehard fans, Dimash fans, who call themselves Dears, are clearly above all. As soon as I heard his voice, I was immediately impressed in 2017. It is no wonder that his fans are obsessed, his voice is incredible and at first he also seemed like a very humble person. The 26-year-old Kazakh artist reached stardom for the first time after participating in some national competitions and spreading his fame abroad, taking second place in the Chinese program - I Am A Singer 2017-. In this show, he was the youngest participant to compete against established and professional Chinese artists. One of the songs I heard him sing was a popular "S.O.S d'un terrien en détresse". Each of his shows always includes cultural aspects related to his country, such as the use of private instruments for accompaniment or traditional clothing and singing styles. I think the choice to sing in his mother tongue was no accident. I think one of his goals is to increase his country's popularity and recognition. After gathering my thoughts, I realized that I was right about my assumptions. Your last Instagram post that you just mentioned: You need to understand that I have become who I am now, mainly thanks to Kazakhstan. Because I grew up in Kazakhstan, I ate Kazakh dishes, I studied with a Kazakh vocal educator, I grew up in a Kazakh family. And the main stimulus that moves me is my nation and my country! After all, I think we have already answered my previous question. What made this artist so close to his fans? And what does he have that others don't? An incredible voice is not enough today. Social networks bring artists closer to their audience, who want to be sure that whoever follows them is someone to relate to. Artists like Dimash tend to gain millions of followers around the world, not only for their talent, which is definitely the main thing, but also for their humility and the way they interact with others. When people feel closer to an artist, they tend to want to know more about him. Dimash is talented, mysterious and, at the same time, so down to earth that he could easily be next door to him. In a world where talent and simplicity usually go hand in hand, Dimash is a real treat for everyone. Congratulations on your reaction, Dimash is a very humble and simple boy, for what i have read and seen he highly appreciates his roots and exposes them when he can in his presentations. He is very respectful of everyone and kind. He was competing in The World´s Best in 2019 but he retired. This caused annoyance in Rupaul but Dimash was more concerned with leaving the little ones that competed with him frustrated and seeing the level and quality that he has, he would very likely have won. By the way the prize was of 1,000,000.00 dollars.
