Dimash Kudaibergen SOS - vocal coach reacts

Hi everyone! My name is Madeleine Harvey! I'm a vocal coach. Today, I'm reacting to Dimash Kudaibergen singing S.O.S. I hope that within this video you will see how Dimash makes his vocal choices and how those choices better connect you to your own voice.
One of the biggest secrets to Dimash belting the way he does is the unique combination of acoustics and resistance. He's able to sing high because he approaches the note by going down to it. This keeps his larynx in a nice stable position for pretty much any coordination. He can transition into the rock belt once he moves through the feeling of a yawn. This allows him to sing high without strain and gives him a nice rounded tone. His coordinations are so clean! Which tells me he has built up his instrument over time. Notice how he glides through his sounds with a beautiful tender tone quality. This means he is not carrying a lot of weight in his sound, but allowing the breath to carry his voice completely. This is a fantastic way to increase range and increase tone quality when singing. He plays his vocal cords almost like violin strings. He allows the cords to zip up while feeling every note in between. If you want to learn how to sing high, how to belt high, how to rock belt, and how to sing like Dimash Kudaibergen this video is an excellent one to study!
Thank you so much for checking out this video. If you liked this video, please be sure to give it a thumbs up and click the subscriber button below. I'd love to see you here more often.

Welcome to Dimash's only, amazing universe! He is a unique singer, a fabulous gifted man writes his music, plays many instruments, sings songs in more than 10 languages of the world, is engaged in charity, etc. His voice has a range of 6 (!) octaves, from upper bass to counter-tenor notes, includes the full range of female soprano. His vocal techniques allow him to sing in a variety of styles from classical opera to rock and R-n-B, switching his registers in a fraction of a second... You saw Dimash's debut in the first episode of the music competition "Singer" in early 2017 and he passed it brilliantly for three months. These records are in KZread. Over the years Dimash has grown very much in professional terms, performs works written specifically for him, makes his versions of complex and already known works. His creativity has long and deservedly been recognized throughout the world both by tens of millions of his dears fans and in the professional musical environment, and concerts take place with full anschlags... Despite his 25 years Dimash has already managed to do a lot, and his talent opens up to us all new faces and gives us enormous pleasure... One of Dimash's last works, in my opinion, is very powerful and epic, specially written by Igor Krutoy for him song "Olimpico" in Italian... kzread.info/dash/bejne/lp-EtZitaJfXl5c.html Your professional reaction to this performance will be interesting. P.S. This text has been translated into English by the translator Google and all inaccuracies from there...

This song was written many years ago for a rock opera and you needed 4.5 octaves to sing it as it was written. (The guy it was written for died)Dimash is clocked right now at 6 octaves 2 semi tones. Also Dimash was 22 when he sang this and he is 25 now. He was asked to sing this in Paris and he did a fabulous job. Some say Dimash can only ever sing opera. Fools have no idea what they are listening to. His Birthday is in late May, the 24th I think, not sure what sign that is but you happen to be talking about it as I write this. He came in 1st place for this performance. I get goosebumps every time I hear him sing this. He has a number of beautiful songs but to really follow his evolution you should listen to him sing each week on singer 2017 before you jump into his newer stuff. He plays 7 instruments, speaks 2 languages fluently, probably 3 by now (Mandarin) and is working on his English which while singing is getting really good but his conversational speech is not as good yet. It is said he has sung before over a billion people. His mother is an opera singer and his father a pop singer, composer and is Dimash's manager. He has a younger sister who sings and a younger brother who plays drums I believe. Me was raised by his grandparents while his parents worked in entertainment and they all lived together. Dimash was offered a position with a prestigious opera house and turned it down to do music his way. He said he wanted to have fun making all kinds of music for all kinds of people. You will see he mixes things that people never mixed before or thought should be mixed. He is tall, like 6'2 or 3" and he can dance too. His high register is a normal range for him. As a child he sang with the girls at his music school because he sang so high. Then puberty hit and he got the lower notes but kept the high notes probably because he had been practicing them for so long not to mention his mother has them. He has perfect pitch. He started playing classical piano and taking singing lessons at age 5. He seems very humble and kind. I keep hoping it is his true persona. Would hate to think behind the curtain he would be a jerk. But no scandals have been attached to him. He doesn't drink alcohol or smoke. He seems to be very kind to children and the elderly. Well he is kind to everyone but he encourages children and elderly the I am guessing he was taught to respect from his grandparents who raised him. He swims to practice breathing exercises and in his video Screaming did his own underwater scenes, his own piano and drums and sang his own background track. Gave people gossip that he couldn't harmonize or sing with others which we already know to be false but they likely have not seen any of those videos. He is supposed to be singing with Lara Fabian in NYC at the Barclay for Igor the pianist he does so many videos with. ( Love of Tired Swans, Mademoiselle Hyde ect). He has so many things you can say about him. The song Diva Dance was done in the movie 5th Element and was done with 1 or 2 opera singers depending on who tells you and a synthesizer. On the singer 2017 Dimash does a good job with it but 11 notes were left out due to timing. He does it in it's entirety at a concert the name which escapes me but you can search for it or I am sure plenty can just tell you right now. There are men who have tried to sing it but can't hit the high notes and women who sing it and do really well but can't hit the low notes. Dimash hits the notes. He is amazing. Enjoy him but if you want to just watch him on your own that's cool, enjoy him. If you are going to do reaction videos don't place them too close together. You are going to get tired of saying how good he sounded and trying to figure out other terms and phrases to use. I love Dimash and can listen to him all day but I couldn't react to him all day. It would get boring as anything. Oh that was a high not, that was a head voice, Ohhhh a mixed voice oh that was so low I wonder what note that was... Really a song at a time you can do, maybe 2 but what do you say about a guy with perfect pitch and over 6 octaves? You don't like his arrangement? The song choice was poor for his voice? You wouldn't have tried that mix but would try something different? You don't have to like him to appreciate his voice. But some don't like that he sings high notes too often but that was his hook when he started so he had to use it. It was a competition after all. He has a loyal and steadfast following. If you want to just listen to him on your own then by all means have at it, he is an amazing singer and is a charming performer that gets people to learn to sing foreign songs phonetically so they can sing along with him at his shows and he sings in over a dozen languages. What other entertainer has fans doing that, tens of thousands of people doing that?

The tools (including his voice, as an instrument, among an assortment of other musical instruments), the work, the compassion, the ability to transform all those, to communicate all that, on so many levels, so evenly, are all awe-inspiring. There is a very interesting and talented young lady of 15 years old. She blew my mind ... how does she sing like that? Madeleine, you can explain it. Her name is Diana Ankudinova - "Wicked Game" or "Human" and superior "Rechenka". Her voice is amazing ..

My goodness, what a good reaction. I’m so happy you reacted to Dimash. He’s celestial, perfect. But that’s just the beginning, cause you’ll be amazed about what he can do. Please watch more, for example Sinful Passion, Love is like a dream, Passione, Love of the tired swans, Mademoiselle Hyde, etc. I’m watching you closely for that ❤️

Great reaction and analysis! I see this is your first reaction video of Dimash, and I don't know how familiar you are with him, but I know there are many thousands of us who would love to see you do more Dimash reactions. This video shows many colors of Dimash's voice, but there is an entire rainbow left for you to experience. The tip of the iceberg, as I like to say. Please continue with Dimash! Thanks!!!

There are clear differences between channels merely reacting to performances (generally rather similar if differ only in exuberance), and vocal coaches who can help us understand how remarkably gifted and trained singers choose to deliver - but amongst coaches the different facets that each coach discuss makes this a rewarding exercise in relistening to this fantastic performance and singer, beyond as you say the "ear candy".

Dimash Kudaibergen never fails to amaze me, and the song itself holds so much meaning 💖 I loved your explained reactions, it was really great! You should do a reaction to a video that shows all of the moments where he did incredible things with his voice, I think it's called :" Times Dimash Kudaibergen forgot he was human". Thank you for the video 💞💕
