Dimash Kudaibergen. Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and receiving his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his PhD. He currently has a vocal range of over 6 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He has performed songs in 12 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it. At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China. He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. He has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances. Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well. Is vocals range from a rich low baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has Hit a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato. He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. His concerts are usually about 3 hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres. He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turn this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music. He's a multi-instrumentalist, competent on 8 instruments including piano, drums and the native Turk/Kazakhstan two-stringed instrument called a dombra. H had his 27th birthday on May 24, 2021. He is most widely known through his live performances that has released several albums the first one going platinum in 37 seconds and triple platinum in less than an hour. It has been recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular. He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has designated his "Dears" He is soft spoken, polite, respectful, elegant and classy, also extremely humble and seldom goes without mentioning his love of country and its history. Welcome to Dimash world! You haven’t seen anything jet!!! This is about 1/3 or so what he can do! Also do reacctions on the same songs but different times and places becouse he changes them a bit every time and sometimes something fun or outhervise can happen. It's so fun for us "Dears" (that’s what Dimash calls his fans because he loves us as a dear family) to see how people react to him. Some info about Dimash. He is from Kazakhstan and has been music schooled sense 5 years old and told the teacher that the piano was out of tune! He sings about 6-7 octaves or so! No one knows he is still learning. He sings higher than the piano can go! He also writs and compose own songs, plays bunch of instruments including Dombra there own Kazakh instrument that has a sound you can’t believe and onley 2 strings! He also sings in about 12 languages and speaks 3 so far. He is born in May 24 1994. Dimash has an excellent education: he graduated from the College of Music with a degree in Opera Singing, university of arts in the specialty "Estrada and jazz vocals", and on June 18, 2020, he completed a master's degree in Composition. He graduated with a degree in opera from the music school at the University of Aktobe (2014), a degree in pop/jazz from the National Arts University in Nur Sultan (2018), just completed his Master's degree in composition (June 2020) and have started his PhD. He have done some contests in his life but the one I think got the worlds intension is "The Singer" (Allso called "I am a singer" or "Singer") from China in 2017. The Singer is a program for established Chinese singers to face off against each other invites only in a competition where votes were cast by an audience of 500. Dimash Qudaibergen was a last-minute inclusion (a 'dark horse'). But his performance of 'SOS D'un Terrien En Detresse' electrified the audience, his fellow competitors and the viewers who numbered in the billions (this program was one of the most-watched in China and outside). They also got him the nickname "Imported little brother" the day after the show. They also had to get bodyguard for Dimash do to the famous over night both in China and also the world. Dimash wasn’t really prepared for that. He had come to China at 22 years young man by him self and didn’t know the language. They hade contracted him for 2 shows because they didn’t think he cold go further than that. He didn’t think they would like him. So he was nervous this performers that he had also to start the show with. But they hade to change that do to his famous over night. Dimash got many new friends from this show and he said at some point he learned a lot from it to. I checked out your reaction partly because of your name, since I am from the Rogue Valley, Oregon. I found Dimash in March through a reaction video. I have watched many of his videos, concerts, documentaries, etc since then. I have learned a lot from comments in the reaction videos. He is about 24 years old in this performance, having turned 27 last month on the 24th. He is 6'3" , swims underwater the length of the pool to develop lung capacity, has 2 Master's degreess in Composition and Pop/Jazz vocals, and is working on Doctorate in Musicology (some say he has completed it). His concerts are 2 1/2-3 hours long and he performs many genres in different languages, dances, and plays different instruments. He showcases his native Kazakh culture with musicians and dancers. He has done some modeling and acting and has a red belt in Taekwondo! He has been learning English and has really improved in the last 2 years. But the best thing about Dimash is how caring, kind, humble, generous, moral, and spiritual he is. His fans love him so much they want to emulate him and "be better humans." Apparently he was talking to the audience and was try to say, "You are dear to me." , but it came out as , "You are my dears." So, he refers to his millions of fans (all ages) as his "Dears" and they refer to themselves as "Dears." You will see people wearing hradbands with "Dear" in glitter or lights at his concerts. I feel bad for reacters who only react to one of Dimashes performances once a week. You really need to watch his concerts to find out how really talented he is and what a great person he is. I believe he is changing the world by spreading Love. That seems to be his goal, not money.

*Dimash is the best singer in the WORLD and there are no doubts about that* Sorry, I disagree, so there's one doubt. Is he a remarkable singer? Of course, but there are superior singers in other genres Dimash sings in, Opera is the obvious example - Dimash would confirm the same thing and not because he is humble, but because he's aware there are superior Opera singers. Moreover, there are other genres of music he would not be considered the best in, rap, hip hop, blues, Jazz, rock to name but a few. I think claiming any one singer in the world is the 'best' is problematic, fine to say he's your favourite singer, but not the best, that just makes no sense.

What a lovely first reaction to Dimash; please do more! He was 24 at the time of this performance (and just turned 27 in May 2021) but has been learning the art of singing since he was 5 - so he already has a lot of of experience ...

My favorite song from him is Daybreak.. it makes me tear up everytime I hear it, especially considering the story behind it. and his performance is just amazing, like always

His vocal range shown to date us D1-D8 seven octaves, and he has so much control he can jump octaves and the transition is smooth. He is definitely the best singer I know if in history. He was about 23 at this performance, but with 18 years of classical and pop voice training. Multiple instruments. Multiple degrees. I think his doctorate is done now. The reason his high notes appear so effortless here is because he still has some runway left. I recommend you follow the sequence of performances as listed in the comments below by others, but when you get to the "Diva Dance" written for the movie the Fifth Element to be sung by an alien you will see his amazing range and vocal agility. The Diva Dance was recorded in pieces and compiled using a computer because it was deemed impossible to jump instantly between notes of such ranges and to smoothly traverse the octaves so quickly with a human voice...until Dimash.

Wonderful reaction, thank you! I stumbled across him at the beginning of 2020, and I've been obsessed ever since. It's a fabulous ride, he won't stop surprising you. It's not just the range (which is spectacular - wait until you listen to his resonant baritone!) but the obsessive & fearless attention to detail that drives him to tackle every genre and challenge that gets thrown out. This song, SOS, remains one of my favorites. He's recorded it professionally since 2012, which is what, about 17 years old? Insane. In this performance he's 23-24 (he just turned 27 at the end of May). There was an amazing change in his technique/voice in 2015 & 16, as if everything suddenly started falling together. And then the breakthrough performance in 2017 on I Am Singer that put him on the international map. Most recently, he released another SOS recording on 1/20/21 for Sister Cities International in honor of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris' inaugurations. Do look for that one. Absolutely the most beautiful stage set I've ever seen, and the artistry of his vocal choices is simply off the charts. He's a great artist, and we're lucky to be watching at the beginning of his career. I personally think he's dividing the vocal world into two: before and after Dimash. The inspiration that he's offering young singers is breaking barriers that have always been there.... like the Simone Biles of voice.

What I would say...is: "you were just Dimash-ified"...!!! Such a talent, such command, such control and what a Performer. How about the hesitation, then the "look" with those EYES....I think he is hypnotizing!! Dimash is the ultimate Performer!
