You said rock, I say progressive rock! Yes, they were one of my favorite bands since I was a teenager. I don't know how many times I've seen this band, but my fondest memory is riding the elevator in a big New York hotel a few hours before their show at Madison Square Garden in 1978. I saw them in Quebec, Montreal and New York. Imagine, Jon Andreson, who is now 79 years old, has almost the same voice as on the first Yes album released in 1969. It's extraordinary!

You’ve obviously heard the song multiple times throughout your life, which explains the lack of authenticity in this video. You’re capitalizing pure and simple on a song which means literally less than the shit on the bottom of your shoe to you. Fake-ass reaction which belittles one of our most magnificent songs as humans. Garbage video. Now for those still reading? Go enjoy some Floyd.

I know every word by heart and always cry because the meanings are so profound. Farsi is the language of poetry and love, similar to how Edward FitzGerald translated Omar Khayyam's poems or how Goethe admired Hafez. I wish peace for all people around the world and love for all of us. ❤

The harmonica player is Julian Dawson, a great singer/songwriter in his own right. Check out his album 'Travel On'. The band behind Richard for this performance was put together for the show although there were some regulars who he has worked with for many years. Mike Jerome on drums (long time drummer for RT), Pete Zorn on tambourine (sadly passed away now however another long time working with RT), Danny Thompson on Double Bass (no relation and occasional bass player with RT but better known for Pentangle), Julian Dawson on harmonica (rare appearance with RT) and not sure about the bass player (sorry).
