No one is funnier when he’s pissed off than Ryan Styles. Trust me on that one.

@Deadwood1919 the exact reason why he targets drew in most of them for making him to do them. It's not that he hates them. It's that he hates doing them. He's gone on record saying he's not musically inclined so anything that involves him singing he hates to do
To answer your questions: The arm up in the air was referencing the N*zi Salute. Tonto was/is the Native American partner/sidekick of the Lone Ranger. Drew would usually participate in the final sketch/bit of the episode. Regarding the points, as Drew would usually say, Whose Line is "The show where everything is made up, and the points don't matter".

If you look at his legs he was goose stepping too.
Drew's standing intro: Welcome to Whose Line Is It Anyway, the show where's everything's made up, and the points don't matter.
The Baywatch thing was bc in the show the Baywatch female lifeguards had rather impressive chests. so Wayne was inflating them as a floating device.
Ryan was mimicking a particular salute and walk during the song. Tonto was the Native American sidekick of The Lone Ranger.
😂😂😂 there are compilation clips/bloopers from Whose Line which include them stopping the show for the censor. Definitely need to react to those 😊

There are so many Ryan Stiles hoedowns that are cut by the censor.
Nothing is off limits with true comedy. This was comedians pushing back to a networks decision, its always beautiful
Pamela Anderson (amongst other buxom ladies) used to be on Baywatch and Wayne was making fun of her...surgery enhanced ampleness. He's mimicking her taking off her top and using her chest as cushioning for a fall. Set in the Old West, Tonto was the Lone Ranger's Native American sidekick who talked in broken English, just like how Tarzan talked.
And that's what happens when true comedians are told to censor themselves.
3:45 - That was Ryan slipping a little Adolf Salute into the scene. 4:30 - "and the points don't matter" is part of Drew's opening to each episode. Completely at Drew's whim. 4:45 - That was a boob joke - the old Baywatch series, the casting of female roles tended to be, well Wayne is suggesting inflatable...
I think I speak for all of us in saying we want to see you react to Hoedowns and Irish Drinking Songs compilations
Your reactions are hilarious - Tonto is Lone Rangers INDIAN (w a feather) side kick LOL
Wayne was talking in a German accent.. Tonto was the Lone Ranger’s sidekick, a Native American
Another fun Whose Line video to check out would be 'Whose Line - Greatest Hits Ryan & Colin Part 1'. It was posted 11 years ago and has about 6.5M views.

Once you go deep dive into WLIIA its hard to stop. Its all golden.
I could literally watch you watching Whose Line for HOURS!
FYI;....Ryan did the HAIL HITLER as Bill Cosby...When He Raised His Arm Up While Wayne Was Singing😅That was HILARIOUS😅😂
"If Tarzan and Tonto were roommates".... Tonto was the Lone Ranger's Indian (Native American) sidekick on the Lone Ranger radio & tv series set in the old West. Tonto was a man of few words. He was played on TV by Jay Silverheels, who was actually Canadian. And Tarzan of the Jungle, of course. In the first one, Tarzan's trying to swing thru on a vine, and Tonto's horse is in his path.
I discovered this show is available on MAX. I couldn't be happier and I've been binging it for 3 days lol
Fun video to watch. Hows about some Whose Line Is It Hoedown videos? Those are hilarious also!
The blooper videos of who’s line are amazing

Almost just as good as the show 😂
the guy who got hit (red shirt) yelled dictator (hitler reference). he knew the role he was given when they wouldn't stop with the hitler references to make comedy
If you like this try "8 out of 10 cats does countdown" A British show with points that don't matter and comedian contestants. Gets a bit raw sometimes, but very funny. Another is "Taskmaster" Physical tasks. The taskmaster awards points at his discretion for a worthless prize. Both of these shows are just formats for adlib comedians.
6:52 Similar thing happened with Star Trek "Mirror Mirror" when they had to sneak the censor out to lunch to film Uhrua in her midriff revealing outfit, and Shatner kept messing up purposefully in 'plato's stepchildren', because originally he and Nichelle would gonna kiss...but the network suits were no no for it....but Shatner made it so they HAD to use the kissing bit they filmed prior.
omj this is one of the best! please find the “too hot” party quirks! and find the unedited one of this too plz. finding the unedited bloopers is great too

I had to search this one, and if you're talking about the one with the lady in the blue shirt, which came up first, holy cow! I just watched it 3xs and was howling laughing!! Thank you for that!!! BRITT, THIS IS A MUST!!!!!
Oh, a skit about Mr. Hilter. He has big plans for Minehead.
some of the best whose lines skits are the audience sound effects ones. They get two members of the audience to have to do the sound effects for Ryan and Colin
Another game to check out from this show is Narrate. Ryan and Colin at their best
As long as they don’t make fun of Mr. Hilter, he was just a quiet hotel quest who caused problems.
On the Tarzan and Tonto, Tonto was the Lone Ranger's indean side kick in the TV show.
Hey! This is the Whose Line episodes I love. Instead of best of "Scenes from a Hat" I like the ones where you see the entire episode (or a truncated version like this). The episodes very often play off of something that happened early in the episode and becomes a running joke for the show. Plus, I like the other games they play besides just that one.
It's been an interesting journey for me to watch Britt find out about "Whose Line.." but only via short clips or compilations. Every time there's some new aspect of the show she's never seen before, she is learning some brand new! Or finding new questions! I almost felt like suggesting she watch at least one whole show from beginning to end, to see how the whole thing comes together- but honestly it's more entertaining this way: like trying to put a puzzle together, but you only get one piece at a time and it's up to you to figure out how they fit together. It seems to me like she's mostly been watching clips from the Drew Carey era. It would be fun to see more from the earlier British Clive Anderson era, and more from the recent Aisha Tyler era.
If you enjoy them singing, you would enjoy their 'Greatest Hits' segments they did on the show.
Baywatch - they are falling onto gigantic boobs. Tonto was the Lone Ranger's sidekick.
Drew sometimes gets involved but mostly only on the hoedowns. Tonto was the Lone Ranger’s sidekick in a western in the 60’s.
You should do one of the compilation clips of just Hoedown's. They are hilarious.
With all the talent on set you can see their brains whirling, cranking out all the gold possibilities of that combo only to get it ripped from them.
Back when people still fought against P.C. cancel culture.
Drew was in the military as well, at the tail end of Vietnam or just after
Watch these Comedies: (Real Movie) It's Hard Not to Love Mrs. Doubtfire ,The Ringer, Date Night, Gabriel Iglesias: Stadium Fluffy , Jo Koy : Don't Make Him Angry , The 40-Year-Old Virgin , You Don't Mess with the Zohan
You should try the original UK version of who's line is it anyway. It has atleast 3 of the faces you are used to. It's basically the same show but with a British host.
Britt Hoedowns is one of songs that cast members sing each episode. Irish Drinking Songs and Duets are the others. With duets, usually Wayne plus other guys such as Jeff Davis, Brad Sherwood, Charles "Chip" Esten, and Gary Anthony Williams sing a song for each episode's guest star. With current reboot, Aisha Tyler as host, Whose Line had a lot of guests such as Karate Kid's Ralph Macchio. I think new season is coming soon for summer on CW.
The host gives points to whoever they feel did a good job in the skit and you were correct the points don't mean anything!!!😂😂
This should be in the subreddit “malicious compliance”
Tanto was the Lone Ranger's Native American sidekick.

And Tarzan was a human child who's parents died in the jungle and was raised by Apes or Gorillas..I forget which..but incredibly strong from all the physical activity. Basically he was supposed to have Olympic athleticism.
Tonto was the Lone Ranger's native American sidekick.
yep a good thing about the show, if they are doing the skits and they hit a topic that is really funny they will fuse that topic into other skits during the show, same with stuff that makes them mad, like the producers nixing topics or skits, then they will try and fit all that in somewhere and it just makes it funnier.
i heard you say in a different video that watching other people laugh makes you laugh harder. look up “tapioca” and “quacking elephant” episodes
Not sure if you caught Ryan's expression after Drew signed off at the end but he looked kinda worried there. 🤣
"everythings made up and the points dont matter". Slogan of the show :)
That was great. Very funny. Great reaction loved it.
I've been ill for over 3 months. And now I want a Jello pudding pop. LOL!
although the cast had to follow the wishes of the director and network censors on set, Wayne and Ryan were both executive-producers of the show and Drew was the guy who brought the show to the U.S. from the U.K. That's why they were able to get away with their jabs at the network.
3:46 Rye: Hail Hit... Collin: No, no, don't 7:34 Hit...
You should react to the "Telethon for Sitcom Stars" it is a really good round for Wayne and Brad, and of course Colin and Ryan is fun as always
you really should watch a full episode. get the idea of the "game".. cause points really don't matter and he just chooses a "winner" to sit in the chair so he can join in the fun on these. and the first thing ryan did was raise his hand like a salute but u could not see it cause it was off camera (hand gesture that is). so one could still be the Cosby and h....r show not just the salesman lol. keep up the fun cheers.
Yes keep them coming!
OMG THIS IS MY FAVORITE. Please watch more!!!
SNL used to do skits starring Tonto, Tarzan and Frankenstein, all masters of single syllable broken English. Sometimes they'd sing Christmas carols and it was hilarious.
The Points don't matter. As Drew says famously at the beginning of each episode. But he always picks a "winner" so he can get involved. Drew and Ryan were real friends for a long time and Drew wanted to act with him on stage. Tonto; long ago there was a show "The Lone Ranger." Tonto was his Native American friend and side kick.
Google is the nanny we didn’t ask for
There is a point system, but Drew always says the points don't matter at the beginning of each episode. He just picks a person at random as the "winner" and they sit behind the desk. There was maybe one episode he kept track of the points and that was it.

There was one episode in season 4 where Drew handed out $100 bills instead of points.

Thank you so much 😂🖤
You're only watching clips, so you wouldn't get this. Every episode started off with this introduction: "Welcome to Whose Line Is It Anyway, the show where everything's made up _and the points don't matter._ "
We don't talk nearly enough about the fact that Dr. Huxtable was a gynecologist whose practice was in his own basement.
Britt they say at the start of the show the points don't matter so he just gives random ones and Drew just picks who he wants as the winner each time.
I adore the episodes where they have one joke that just carries through the whole show.... Especially when Colin was part of the letter H.

Oh man that was so good 😂
Knowing that Drew is a former Marine, I totally understand why he'd be a little saltier than most at not being able to poke fun at Hitler.
Tonto was the Lone Rangers Native American Side Kick.
"You can make fun of native americans all you want. Knock yourself out..." lol i loved these clips. They'd spend the entire show riffing on whatever it was, from Colin being bald to drew's "Africa's a big country" gaff, and now the censors not letting them make fun of hitler and nazis. Lol this stuff was comedy gold.
Search the Lone Ranger and Tonto. The Lone Ranger is a fictional western law man and Tinto was his partner.
network director: guys cant talk about 1940s mustache man whos line crew telepathically talking to themselves: Ok, passive aggressive references it is then
The Lone Ranger was a radio series and later TV show about a masked vigilante in the Old West, with his sidekick, Tonto- who was Native American. Tonto spoke in a broken pidgin English, stereotypical of what audiences expected of 'Indians': "Me see many white men come this way." "Me heap thirsty. We stop for water now, drinkum plenty." Y'know, that old hogwash. But it was popular for years. Tarzan is a character from a series of books, which was adapted into a series of films- about a white baby adopted by gorillas in Africa, who becomes the King of the Jungle. In the books, Tarzan learns how to speak English very well. In the films, he learns to speak English very poorly, and speaks in a halting, broken style: "Me and boy run from lion. Climb tree. Then Tarzan make mighty leap and kill lion with knife! Tarzan great hunter." So those two characters, with their famously bad English, have been paired together for comedic effect, more than a few times. There's an SNL sketch from the 1990s with Tonto, Tarzan, and Frankenstein's Creature (another character known for his bad English- another character whose English in the book is very good but in the film is very bad) singing Christmas carols- badly, of course.
You want Wayne to do Cosby’s voice? Whose Line Questionable Impressions
Guys, can we just have her react to a full episode so she knows actually how the show works? 😅 How Drew says the points don't matter at the beginning of the show.
Tonto was the Lone Ranger's sidekick.
Love the "insurgence." And they're right.
Never tell a bunch of improvisationists that they can’t do something 😂
Annuities are a type of insurance product.
the U.S. Whose Line Is It Anyway is own by Disney that's why no hitter jokes
If you want to see Wayne do Cosby then look up the games where they do impressions He does it a lot
Tonto was the Lone Ranger"s sidekick
Drew says the points don't matter, mainly because whoever gets Drew to laugh the hardest wins. Drew takes the place of said winner in the final game, which usually involves dancing or singing. The two most popular are "Hoe Down" and "Irish Drinking Song".
If you want to know what the crew thougt of Drew and the points, look up Wayne's tape recorder prank and Wayne's "Not a damn thing!",They might be on the same episode. The gang were always roasting each other in the skits and the hoedowns and Irish drinking songs and between skits.
See there was censorship back then too. Its always about not appearing controversial to advertisers so the network wont lose money. Also sure none of this aired on tv. These are part of the many bloopers that were released later uncensored.
Thanks!
Actually, Drew and Ryan were the show producers, at least for some of the show's run. The guy who objected was the director, likely at the instigation of censors. At at least one point, Ryan muses that, should Drew meet an untimely demise, a suitably-sorrowful Ryan would take over the show, and the desk.
The worst thing you can do with comedians is tell them they can't joke about something.
Sometimes during the recording something happens via the director, producer, performers or audience members that'll become a running gag for that episode. Hitler was the joke for this episode.
That episode if done today: Drew- Bill Cosby and H****r Producer- *HOLD* Ryan- Not THAT Cosby Brad- WILL Cosby
The Censor wouldnt allow that combo of people
You’ve gotta check out a game they play called “Greatest Hits”, Colin and Ryan play 2 infomercial guys trying to sell you CD’s, and Wayne sings a quick snippet of a made up song title Ryan or comin throws out
I think you need to watch a full episode.
Tonto was The Lone Ranger’s side kick
Imaginary points! But some fans did count the total number of points from each show.
"This is not a points show, is it?" The intro is "Whose Line Is It Anyway? Where the rules are made up and the points don't matter!" Oh, and a similar one is "Mock the Week", where the panelists were told not to make blind jokes about someone... and telling a comedian *not* to do something never ends well.
