It's a shame your first time reaction wasn't a double reaction from their first version of I'm not a vampire to I'm not a vampire revamped. It's astounding to see the difference in artistry and change in emotion and meaning between the two different version of the song

This is Ronnie’s song he wrote while in Prison the original is 10 years old and this would be even cooler if you did the original then this revamped! It’s the same lyrics just 2 different versions, it’s about addiction and it’s how he liken it to feeling like a vampire! Dude, you gotta watch the original now! It’s like a movie 🎥 for sure, Ronnie puts all the money he can ! His vocals on this are insane and really dives into the lyrics and there meaning! Great reaction! "I don't know if this is a cover or anything..." Yes, he's covering his own song from over a decade before this was released. Also yes, you did miss the connection between an addict needing a fix and a vampire needing blood. You could make the argument that it's about either being addicted to breaking hearts/womanizing (mother's better lock your doors and hide your daughters), or being addicted to a substance (alcohol specifically I believe based on the line "Whiskey seems to be my holy water" meaning it's bad for him like holy water is to a vampire.) Also, I just want to point out that it was extremely obvious you enjoyed this one. It was all over your face.

Thats Ronnies girlfriend shes a WWE pro wrestler you may have heard of her Page? Shes absolutely stunning not like the manly girl wrestlers you see or think of that would fit that style..So basically she was in her vampire state from the beginning of the video and the thing is from her perspective remembering back on what happened. So shes thinking back in the past before she was a vampire and hes acting weird as sus shes picking up signs of maybe a serial killer or something so she decides to leave him but he didnt want her to know his secret of being a vampire.. But she had a change of heart and comes back home only to find him inside feasting on some humans thats when he ran up to the mountain and quire comes in.. When he returns she had slit her wrists to kill herself so his only option if he wants to save her is to turn her into a vampire..But at the same time the town mob is coming over to take him out .. So Ronnie decides to sacrifice himself to save his woman which is why he went without a fight and as shes remembering him buring from the dawn of sunlight she is outside on balcony as the sun is rising in real time so she can go be with him in the afterlife... Like Romio and Juliet if they were vampires lol.. But the true meaning of the song is about his addictions from drugs and alcohol from his early days in the rock scene! Yes this is a cover song of his own song from their first album hence the title Im not a vampire ReVamped! Even the title got BARZ! lol

She wakes up and starts wandering around an empty house that has been empty for a while, and begins having flashbacks of him playing the piano when doing things that were a bit odd. He was a vampire, and she was essentially his love. She has flashbacks of mindlessly going along, cleaning up messes, kind of ignoring the clear signs that he was killing people, and when she finally saw him burying bodies, she chose to leave him. He tries to get drunk to deal with the pain of her leaving because he really loved her, and ends up gorging himself on a whole party of people. On her way out, she hears the screams and rushes back to find him finishing the last guest. When he sees her terror at what he is he runs away cursing the heavens at what he is. And when he returns she has attempted self delete because she went along with it for so long. Seeing this, knowing that she is bound for hell for both because of him, he makes her immortal.With her senses taking in the surroundings that at first she doesn't see clear, but remembers as she is having flashbacks, he carries her to a safe place in the house as he decides to sacrifice himself to protect her. In remembering this she decides to stand and wait for the sun realizing she too loved him despite the monster he is. Poetic since both Ronnie and his girlfriend Saraya (the one who played the woman in the video) had been through some events/done some stuff that were viewed as pretty bad and kindof discovered each other as they were getting themselves better. (vampire transformation metaphor) Pretty freaking Rembrandt to me.

Ronnie wrote the song when he was incarcerated. I feel that he's a very good actor that can actually sing ( really well). He's brilliant, and his own genre.

Ronnie Radke won't allow copyright strikes on his music. You don't have to worry about fading it out or anything else. If you do the reimagined/revamped songs, you have to watch the original first to give you the true wow factor ;) .

It is easy to miss the connection because the MV is like a short movie, and so epic. But idk if anyone else has said so already or not, but the connection between addiction/drugs is the blood would be the drug in this metaphor.

He allowed himself to be captured. It wasn't due to a lack of ability to, or that he couldn't over come the small mob. By turning her, he saved her from dying to suicide. I think he thought by giving up to the mob that he could saved her once more by sacrificing himself to the mob to be brought into the light of day. For me this is where I feel less confident about knowing the true meaning because after he has allowed himself to be captured he mentions he is going straight to hell and that he is "taking you down with me" because "you know damn well" -- and so I am unsure if he meant she would be annihilated as well, or something else I had thought about was wondering if he sacrificed himself to save her a second time from the mob, as in it is as if the mob is unaware of her or unaware of her being turned, but my thought was wondering if he sacrificed himself to save her this second time so that she could experience what he did, because he wanted her to know his addiction (the blood) is something that nothing else is stronger than, expecting that should find safety while he was being executed, not expecting that she would purposefully greet the light of day with him. In my minds eye it makes me imagine how sometimes we love people no matter how bad we know they are, because in a sense people can become addicted to other people and lose themselves in that type of chaos. This has been one of my favorite songs of all time because the revamped version with the MV takes you on a rollercoaster. There is a LOT to take in. It's been a very pleasant curiosity exploration with this one.

You should definitely watch the original version of this song. The tone is literally a 180 from this, but definitely showcases FIR's ability to adapt and grow with the times.

This is a remake of FIR's I Am Not a Vampire original, which is different music style. This is also the 2nd time they did this. Listen to The Drug In Me Is You original, then listen to the 'ReImagined' version. The latter is close to the style of this 'Revamped' version of I Am Not A Vampire.

Just watched one of your Run the Jewels featuring Zack de la Rocha reactions. You didn't seem to know how to pronounce his name, so I suspect you haven't heard much of any Rage Against the Machine. RATM fans, give him some ideas please. Me, I'd love to see a reaction to the video Sleep Now In The Fire or just the music of Down Rodeo. Their catalog is extensive and Zack is incredible.
