First Singapore Airlines Airbus A350-900 flight at Amsterdam, Netherlands
A water cannon salute to commemorate the arrival of the first Singapore Airlines A350-900 at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol! On 10 May, our inaugural flight was celebrated together with our customers and special guests consisting of VIPs and the media.
Singapore Airlines’ initial batch of A350s will be fitted with 253 seats in three classes, with 42 in Business Class, 24 in Premium Economy Class and 187 in Economy Class. Configuration details of A350-900s that will be used on medium-range flights as well as those that will be used for ultra-long-range flights will be announced at a later date.
With advanced technology and superior operating efficiency, the newest addition to the Airline’s fleet will offer customers an improved travelling experience with features such as higher ceilings, larger windows, an extra wide body and lighting designed to reduce jet lag.
From 2018, an ultra-long-range variant of the A350 known as the A350-900ULR will be added to Singapore Airlines’ fleet, for the re-launch of the world’s longest non-stop flights, between Singapore and New York, as well as to Los Angeles and a third destination in the United States.

Since MAS already suspended KUL-AMS route, i'll prefer Singapore Airlines direct flight to Amsterdam. Other than that, we have KLM as well. So I can predict that MAS will resume flights to Amsterdam with new flight number and new aircraft like A350 beyond 2025s as MAS have been revitalise with more fleet and long haul expansion.
I was on maiden flight A350 -900 in 2019 Washington Dc to Singapore on way to Davao Philippines

My favourite is the Airbus family & especially the A380 the "King of the sky". Or maybe some others describe it as a dolphin in the sky. This Airbus A350 is a Engineering marwell into latest technologies & i really love flying an Airbus 😘😘😘 1st preference is safety.. which Boeing never did since their 737 Max aircrafts.... Also 787 Dreamliner aircrafts... When money & fame is involved people go like... " Balls to the passengers, we will still earn". I love Airbus in every innovation they take. Moral of the story..... Even if FAA says you can travel safely with 737 max ... Think twice 😂😂😂 Thanks to be

+Thesentul2009 Singapore Airlines are often very expensive and sometimes double the price of other airlines (maybe I was wrong). Instead of SQ, you can choose Finnair, Qatar and a lot more even Cathay Pacific will be flying that.
