another great vid. dude you are exploding in the subs. great content well deserved. I had an XL sitting for a while, recently got my MPI and manifold this is making me push the the tune. do gotta ask CEL with tune?

I appreciate the support! Unfortunately with cobbs new green speed rules tuners don’t have the ability to code out cat or o2 sensor codes anymore so without a compliant cat the ecu will trigger a CEL

@@DArias are you running O2 spacer? or how are you getting around the CEL. im basically Zero to Vortex XL i have all the parts but not done because of a CEL since i dont have custom tune with CEL. bought all the parts but the tune. its my daily so if eqt wont overwrite cobb because of fines.... over all what im asking is do you have a CEL with big turbo and cant make it a street car. including whoever is seeing this from California. is this why matt left EQT? I wont buy a tune thats going to give me a CEL and fail omission.

Still so much to do! Lol I think over the winter I’ll be focusing on interior stuff, I wanna do a new steering wheel and some interior carbon pieces. Car will be getting a new wheel and tire setup hopefully in the spring and I may be switching out my intake setup again lol

You know PS4S rips if you're gonna run a dedicated summer tire. You should get close to 550 wheel w/ the XL.

Do you have to have mpi to run the XL turbo? Could just bigger injectors work if someone doesn’t want to go as far as e85 and is happy with a mean and punchy 91-93 tune

Mpi is not necessary and no need for bigger DI injectors at all. You can stick to 93 and run an upgraded hpfp only but you’ll be missing out on a lot of power tbh. At min you will need to the hpfp but that’ll push the fuel system very hard. Doing mpi and LPFP gives a ton of headroom for 0 fuel issues

Just got mine installed and been running my base map and wow! Matt and the guys at EQT are amazing. Can't wait to have my final revisions in the next couple of weeks to really drive it . Thanks again for all the content bro

Bro let me tell you.. so I ended up getting 5 revisions total. The difference between th base map( which is surprisingly still quick) and the final revision is mind boggling. It’s scary haha. Enjoy! And thank you for watching

I said the same thing! Lol that my stage 2 e30 was quick but my base 93 map felt pretty much the same if not quicker. Once you get turned up your redline is around 7300 and the xl doesn’t drop off at all…holds boost all the way it’s brutal man lol I’m currently tuning on e85 as we speak and let me tell you it’s too much (in a good way)
