I see everyone does the same kind of ticks when waiting for the cold start revs to drop. The space out, the arm on gear lever and the casual check in the back seat and centre console for absolutely no reason

When it comes to reliability over power is get the 1st Gen mini with the manual transmission they are tough as rock
Use OEM or NGK brand which will have a serial number...Do not use cheap in Audi nor run anything that will fail to fault your engine..Do not not R7 .Run R8 if you are boosted with a Stage 1 two or 3 .Coils APR ..Also go with their tune because there is better response time with stage 1 .Let's say you tune to stage 1 make sure there are things such as the coils and sparks done and Any belts it needs. IF you can buy the bigger pully from IE then get the IE intake system..If you can get a better intercooler for the audi or Ac compressor do it ..Only get good 93 octane through shell with the V-power or additive that they have already in there gas ..Also if you burn oil in your audi like after oil changes and your like yo why is my oil going down when I just die an oil change ? Get the liquid Molly for the gas tank after you top off the liquid molly oil in your engine.It helped me keep my oil range steady. Tectron you deff want on hand post oil change ..Gas out the car to get any sediment out the fuel then fill up with the techtron
Also only use what is recommended for your Audi..Do not use nothing that will kill the car .These cars are Bullet proof but can have major issues ..Also you need coils at 127 0r 128 thousand miles ..

This is a yonaka Motorsports catback. Very budget friendly exhaust for these cars
How's the drone? I currently have a Vibrant Ultra Quiet resonator and Magnaflow 4 inch round muffler where the mid muffler is and no rear muffler. All 2.5in custom piping. Drones badly right now. Just got a Borla Pro XS muffler to replace the Magnaflow. Hoping to get that done this week and see if it helps.
These 2.5s are so good. One of the best exhaust tones

What is the setup of the yonaka exhaust?
If you’re referring to mufflers and resonators etc…it’s a high flow resonator to a high flow mid muffler and eliminates the rear muffler
Never thought I’d be a Volkswagen fan but man they make some good cars.
They def have some good ones in the lineup! And as of recently the newer gens are phenomenal

Tbh it’s worth it imo! Yes they’re slow but it’s a drive a slow car fast kind of aspect. A lot of aftermarket support and they sound great! Just a fun car that is reliable and you can rip around without worry

How's the fitment on that shift knob? You have a link to that as well? I bought some cheapo shift knob on ebay a month ago and fitment sucks on it. It wouldnt reach down to the groove where its supposed to stay in place and was way too tall.
Fitment was 100% spot on man! Let me get the link and I will include it on another comment to you once I get it. It's cheap and the quality is pretty good plus fits like OEM

The reason for the more often oil change is because of the turbos. I did research, I found out the oil was in too long and got thin, not lubricating the turbo enough leading to many failures in early cars.
How many miles do you have on this EQT hybrid setup?
I have about 8k miles on the setup now if I’m not mistaken but they are HARD miles lol I also don’t daily the car
@@DArias appreciate the insight! I’m looking to run the vortex XL too. EQT told me i could run lpfp + hpfp and wouldnt need the MPI. Any idea as to the benefit to MPI + lpfp vs only upgrading both fuel pumps with no mpi?
Did you have any rubbing issues with this exhaust? Or weird rubbing sounds after install?

Question.. 8:44 there is a white hose underneath your intake, it’s disconnected. Did you know this?
Im suprised no company has come up with a solution like relocating the sports cat section further back on these, like the gains from a catless downpipe and relocating a sports cat core to say where the resonator section is. On a tuned car it would free up even more power and most importantly you would get much better throttle response and still retain a token cat (code out eml with a tune)

I used iridium spark plugs in my R58 .... Good for 50-60k... Try them .👍
What turbo inlet pipe are you running? Gotta Vortex xl on the way and currently have the apr one. Trying to search to see if it's worth upgrading
sooo I currently I’m using the hybrid inlet that comes with the blaze intake. Before that I was running the mst inlet and intake tube and it was great!
@@DAriasinteresting. I was looking at the mst to upgrade. There's not a lot of info on flow rate or which inlet is better or if the juice is worth the squeeze. Lots of marketing hype on the Internet. Did you see any difference between the inlets once you switched?
take it is as a random person but i stopped following when you are done with the car (S3). i get it life happens but you are the person i looked into when taking my car to what it is.
Just bought a 2011 Clubbie S, my first Mini. Is there a difference in maintenance for driving mostly in sport mode? (I haven't even tried doing that yet but I hear it's more fun.)

What do you do for emissions? Do you run a 02 spacer? I’m in NJ too
You can try and o2 spacer and go to certain shops (typically in bad areas) they may or not not hook it up
