Summary:
Around 5% of the population will suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome each year.
The symptoms include:
tingling
numbness
pain
in the thumb, index finger, middle finger, and a part of the ring finger.
There are some really effective exercises you can do, called neural flossing, and therapies which will help as explained in our video.
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Carpal tunnel syndrome is caused by pressure on a nerve in your wrist, called the median nerve.
Pressure on this nerve causes tingling, numbness, and pain in your hand and fingers.
Usually, this involves the thumb, index finger, middle finger, and half of the ring finger.
You can often treat it yourself, but it can take months to get better.
Video
If you are not quite sure if it is carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) you are suffering from, take a look at the typical symptoms and distribution as described in the video.

Many years ago, in my business machines class every morning of gr 12, my teacher showed the class the 'shaking' of the hands 'exercise', only with your arms hanging down by your sides. It was a preventative of carpel tunnel and I have used it a lot through the yrs at my computer jobs. My teacher said it he knew it feels 'silly', but it works. He was a nice man.
I have suffered with this for so many years. THANK YOU!

You are welcome! Glad it helped!
I will definitely be doing these exercises and taking supplements. Thank you for the video very helpful.
A had this a few years ago both hands. Painful at night and mornings. Doctor said we'll do cortisone injections first and if that fails we'd move onto surgery. I said fuck that and had point pressure massage done on my forearms. Each arm had roughly 10 places that were inflamed, knotted and basically sore to touch. Hands have been fine since.
Thank you so much....tried the exercises only 2 times and I already feel so much better!!!

Great result!
I feel optimistic I’m going tO solve my problem. I discovered it because I felt EXTREMELY tired everyday despite sleeping. My Dr suggested the hand brace and if I don’t use it I feel restless.
Ok, you basically saved my life and wrist. I've always thought the only remedy was the surgery but now I feel really optimistic. Thanks a lot ❤️

Please Sir..upload a video on "thoracic outlet syndrome" and please explain difference between carpel tunnel and thoracic outlet syndrome.

with classic thoracic outlet syndrome, one should not be able to feel the pulse in the wrist when lifting the arms up in the air as the arteries are being compromised as well as the nerves.
I have pain and tingling constantly without any break

I am suffering with same problm.my doctor suggest to wear splint and give rest to right hand..i will do these exercise...How much time it take to heal the problm...
Was diagnosed few years back. Did all the tests from this video and nothing trigger it. Also it only effects my middle of the palm and last 3 fingers. Is it still carpal tunnel syndrome?

Unlikely, possibly more to do with the scaphoid bone or perhaps a tendon issue?
I am facing nose twitch can you suggest some exercise
I'm a hairdresser and have some symptoms of CTS in both hands. The back of the hands get very sore when work due to the angle the hands work have some discomfort in the carpal area on both hands. Have had ultrasound done and have been told it to be unlikely CTS but could be either tendonitis or Arthritis. The excercises you show is this done once a day? Thank you
My pain is constant. At 1st tho it was only at night and when I woke up. But now im in pain ALL day. But in middle of night it is the WORST! SO bad like I can't bend my fingers at ALL & FINGERS seem to be ALL really swollen! CONSTANT ACHING, THROBBING, TINGLING, NUMBING ..Feels like I've had a rubber band wrapped around my WRIST super TIGHT 4 a long time

I work with tweezers at work and that’s what triggered my ct (I’m 20). But I feel it most in my ring finer and pinky is that normal? I’m gonna find bigger tweezers to help it out but I also have kt tape on my hand and wrist
The supplements you mentioned in your video, what's your take on taking Vitamin D supplements as well?
