Fezzari Bicycles HQ Tour - Behind the Brand
Спорт
The more brands we visit for our Behind the Brand series, the more we grow to appreciate the different chemistries, vibes and missions of companies in the bike industry. Fezzari Bicycles was one of our favorite stops so far, as they’ve got awesome local trails, a great story and family feel that made us outsiders feel like we’d enjoy punching the clock in Lindon, Utah.
Founded by Chris Washburn back in 2005, Fezzari Bicycles is one of the youngest brands we’ve featured. To learn how Fezzari got its name; what led Chris to leave the automotive industry and start a bike company; and how he took his first order of 250 bikes and turned it into the rapidly growing company it is today was quite a story to hear.
If you’ve not heard of Fezzari Bicycles, they’re a consumer-direct brand from Utah and have been growing in popularity thanks to their America-designed and engineered bikes, which happen to offer a competitive value. They also give some unique customization opportunities for buyers who want to tune the bike to their specifications, which is part of their larger 23-Point Custom Setup process. They even offer a “Love it or Return it” guarantee in case riders feel the bike isn’t quite the right fit for them.
The points above are in line with Chris’ founding principles - to offer the best quality bikes in their class; provide personalized customer support and provide great value. These points are proudly hanging from huge banners in their fresh new HQ, which is built on family land. Check out our Behind the Brand video from Fezzari HQ where we show you around, meet the Fezzari team, and get immersed in the culture that shaped the company.

Looks like an awesome bike! Do you have a dealer here in Asia, particularly in the Philippines?
Cool video. Well done. A friend bought a Fezzarri. I had never heard of them. Looks like a cool company worth supporting.
LOVED getting to tour HQ and meet Chris and the rest of the team at the Ambassador Gathering this year! Such a rad brand and amazing facility they have out in Utah!
Great to learn more about a UTAH brand!
Love seeing the faces behind the brands!
Bought my Wire Peak based on your review and I love it Fezzaris are an amazing deal!

Thanks for the excellent tour. Your review of the Wire Peak was a big influence on my purchase of a Fezzari. The more I find out about Fezzari the more hyped I am to get my Wire Peak due to be built in January. Makes me want to go on a road trip from MD. to pick it up!

Haha, We sure had a great time!
I did a lot of research, mainly watching videos and articles which lead me to purchasing a La Sal Peak 2.0 with a pretty good component spec. I think pulling the trigger and spending many thousands of dollars without ever really setting your eyes on a bike or sitting on a bike makes you a little nervous, no matter how exciting a new bike purchase feels. When I watched this video, it’s a reassuring feeling to know the money I spent is going to a company that cares about its products and it’s customers. So far, the customer service has been out of this world. I’ve dealt with the same rep (Alec) who has been very responsive throughout the build process and has worked though some changes that I’ve requested on the fly. The anticipation is killing me!! I cannot wait for my La Sal to be delivered!! Good product, good customer service, fantastic warrantee policy, US based family owned company,! What else can you ask for?! If me and my new bike jive like I think we will, Fezzari just got themselves a new sales rep, regardless if I’m getting paid😂.
Such a great company founded on awesome principles!

Thank you Justin! We appreciate you watching.
I just came across this video in my research for a new bike, actually 2 new bikes. one for myself and one for my daughters boyfriend. I must say I'm rather impressed with the facility and the interviews with the Fezzari staff. I have been comparing Canyon, Specialized, Cannondale, Felt, BMC, and Pinarello. I should preface this by saying I ride road bikes not Mountain bikes. Anyway after a few weeks of research, price comparison's, reviews, and bike builds, I have narrowed my search down to Canyon and Fezzari. my only hesitation on Fezzari is I have never heard of them until about a week ago. But after seeing this Video they quickly became a favorite, I really like that they are Family owned, and they operate here in the US. I live here in San Francisco and like another said in comments it makes me feel like taking a road trip haha! GREAT VIDEO, and Fezzari might be getting a phone call real soon.

Hey thanks very much Richard we appreciate the kind words and the folks at Fezzari are genuine and passionate! We'd say they're well worth a look whether you take a great road trip and ride some new spots, or have it shipped, we don't think you'll be disappointed. Tell them Loam Wolf says hello!
Just kinda stumbled upon Fezzari a few months back and felt like I came across a secret in the bike industry. Saving up for an Empire now.
Great production value. One of the best mountain bike channels out there. You deserve more subs..

Super Cool! Bought a Fezzari road bike and now lusting after one of their mountain bikes!!!
Great video. Brings back lots of memories. Not from Utah, but went to college in Utah (BYU) and worked at a bike shop during undergrad in Provo and there was a second shop in American Fork. All these guys were probably kids that would “hang out” at our shop when they were young. Lol. Pretty much always been a specialized guy, but now I’ll have to look further into the brand. Looks like a fun crew
Spencer is a legend! 🤘🤘
Awesome work, keep it up. Love this behind the scenes type of stuff from each brand you’ve done so far on the HQ tours.

For the curious the Japanese words AWA-RE and SATORI are Japanese words that mean to be in that moment. Meaning the mind is silent, in a flow state .
Fantastic video! I had an Abajo Peak bike that was recently stolen. I actually bought an Aventon Aventure. Good bike for crazing. Not built for mountain biking. I JUST bought a Wire Peak comp. Picking it up at the factory last part of this month, April 24. Very excited to ride it. I’m looking forward to real and fun mt biking!

I think this video helped a lot with the brand image. I have been thinking it's a brand like Fuji.
This would be such a cool place to work
Great stuff
Hope you can feature polygon bikes
I'm pretty sure it was Ian that set me up with a demo at Outerbike. That poor bastard was busier than a one-legged man at an ass-kicking contest 😆 I think there was one other guy there helping check people out on bikes. Those guys probably slept for a week straight after that.

Tyler (Fezzari guy) loves to talk about their 23 pt. custom fitment process in all of the Fezzari videos. But Fezzari bikes are way too short. According to Fezzari they want to size me on a medium. I've owned 2 of their bikes. A Large La Sal and Signal. Although great bikes, both were too small and cramped. Makes me wonder if they actually know about sizing or not.
@svenjamsa6659
Жыл бұрын
Their 23-point custom setup has always been dialed for me. Road, gravel, mtb, and e-bikes. They have tons of awesome reviews on that fitment system alone. You could just be an outlier who likes a bike that fits a little bigger than most. Also taking one ride with Tyler and allowing him to adjust your fitment and suspension setup on the trail will show you just how knowledgable that guy is.

@@svenjamsa6659 many online reviews talk about how short (the cockpit) of Fezzari bikes feel.
@tylercloward1677

Most of what we have seen with riders feeling cramped is coming from bikes with really slack seat tube angles. The La Sal Peak has a steep seat tube angle and in a seat down sitting position it is very short. Stand up and drop the saddle and you have a nice roomy reach. We work to have lower stand over heights so riders can size up to get a longer reach if they’d like. But we back it all with a fit guarantee. We will work with you to get your new bike dialed.
@edlorenz1552

@@tylercloward1677 I've had 2 Fezzari bikes. They are great bikes. But what you are saying makes absolutely no sense. Steep seat tubes shorten the top tube, especially when the head angle is slackened. This compresses the riding position while seated. It's totally uncomfortable riding while seated when you feel like your knees are going to hit the front of the bars. I'm 5'9". Fezzari almost always wants to put me on a medium, when a large is in fact too cramped for me. Can I step up to an XL - yes, but then the seat tube is huge. Lengthen your top tubes and you guys will have winners, but until then, your geo is wacked. Great riding bikes though.
I think the bikes and value are awesome. The name just seems so lame. He should just rebrand “Moment” Cycles would be way cooler.
Golf? I don’t want a Fezzari.
I've never been able to take this company seriously since they first debuted at Sea Otter and their first DH bike had a ridiculously steep head angle. I can't tell you an exact number as I didn't have a pocket angle finder on me, but I had just built a new DH frame with a 62.5 degree HA and theirs was in the cross country range. Hopefully that designer has long since been fired and replaced.

Huge changes. I think early on they were building up off the shelf frames just to generate capital. They've since started designing their own bikes with modern geometry. As consumers we tend to think about the bikes, but early on the company has to think about profits so that it can continue to grow and improve.
nice behind the scenes. The golf playing bros and Proud Boy grooming is a serious turn-off however
Listening to the CEO Chris makes me want to NEVER buy a fezzari
