The violin player is Johanna from Feuerschwanz, she also plays the hurdy gurdy. Their original material is usually in German. They recorded seven cover songs for the bonus disc of the 2020 album Das Elfte Gebot (The Eleventh Commandment) and did the same for the 2021 album Memento Mori (Latin for Remember Death/ Remember Mortality). In 2022, they released a compliation album (Todsünden [Deadly Sins]) with all the covers from those two, plus The Final Countdown & Gimme Gimme Gimme. The latter one is the result of a dare: Ben, stage name Prinz Hodenherz (Prince Testicleheart) called Hodi, the long haired singer/ multi instrumentalist, said during the album release live stream on new years eve 2021, that he would do an ABBA cover if Memento Mori overtakes ABBA in the German album charts (which actually meant the no.1 position) in the first week. Which it did!

Bastard in german has a couple of meanings: 1. it used to be the illegitimate son of a noble man, ususally mothered by an "unworthy" woman and therefor not eligible for any heritage or titles. 2. it has become some sort of slur, calling someone a bastard means he is a worthless no gooder, and as a lot of slurs do, that indicates that it is unclear who their father might be...some more ancient form of calling soemone a SOAB and. 3 it is a term for a filthy street dog. This song is abot the fenriswolf, the son of trickster god loki and the giant angrboda (and she was not his wife) tho that is where that bastard comes into play. He is tricked by the gods layed in a magical chains, biting of the hand of Tyr in the process. The Viking gods where afraid of him roaming free bevause it was prophecised that he would cause ragnarok and kill odin and devour the sun if he ever gets free.

Fenrir the Winter Wolf of Norse mythology was the bastard of Loki and a giantess. Which is why Fabienne Erni (the female singer from Eluviete) transforms into a 'wolf' and kills Odin which is one version of what is supposed to happen during Ragnarok
