I finally noticed Freckles' freckles on his blaze.Duh me lol. That little bottle brush tail is adorable. He sure has made Jordan his safe place.

I think the baby wanted to curl up in Jordan's lap and take a snooze.

Freckles is such a sweet pea and a beautiful horse. I’m already calling the baby “Flash” in my head, and he’s so precious. Beautiful coloring and nice personality, too. He’s lucky y’all found him. Thanks for all you do for horses.❤🎉❤

Yes. Even an abused animal. They should make the 1st move. You're just there for them to get use to. For you to feed/water.

He is going to be a very secure horse. He seems very aware of where he is physically already, and you guys have shown him calm and that he has nothing to fear. I would be interested in figuring out who his mama was in the wild herd, with his color, markings, and how he moves. Thank you again for loving these babies. All the wild ones

Even more important is what I came to realize decades ago when I had my first brood mare job & dialed out my first baby. I looked @ him as I put him down in the straw & suddenly thought: "THIS contact w/ME will be the basis for everything he knows & thinks abt people!" It was then that I knew this was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
