I'm happy that you're being so careful about introducing her to other horses. I've seen other videos of an orphan foal raised with a mare who had a foal so that the orphan had a momma to teach her to be a horse and a companion to play with. They fed the orphan a bottle , and she would come running for it, so she never bothered the mare or took any milk away from the other foal. Just curious if you had considered that option.

My old pinto mare had a bay filly with one blue eye .Quite a common thing in UK gipsy vanner horses

I think she is too. Is that something she will grow out of with more development?

That seems to be a inherited body language trait in horses. It is sort of telling a big horse - please don't hurt me - I'm just a baby.

Foals will often do this to show submission and remind the older horses that they are still a baby

It's referred to as "clacking." The little foal will "clack" its lips open and shut.

If you are referring to Dillinger's yawning, it usually means that he releasing anxiety / relaxing.

Piper is a little stiff in her hind quarters.
