Feral foal Sage strong enough to run

Sage has gained in strength to start running around, she hasn’t had enough strength or energy to do this as much as she has this evening.
It is such a good feeling to watch her healing & growth
Ranger is so full of himself!
All confidence & charm, a bratty big brother
Shadow spends most her time resting and standing near us, she is a quiet confident foal, she watches the other two and walks behind after them. Shadow has calmly fit into this little herd and is finding her spot among the other two.
We are trying to get her to drink from the bucket but she would rather have the bottle, so far it’s a mixture of both, eventually she will understand the bucket and know where to find her milk
It’s interesting to watch the dynamics of all three foals, how their individual characters come to life and to be part of their healing journey
Some days it seems like the weeks are blurring together then we re watch their first videos and see just how far they have come in growth & health.

They will grow up to be awesome horses. A good “babysitter” horse can teach them horse 101 so they are properly socialized.
I miss babies we had a stud colt that would back you up against the stall wall and slide you down the wall with his rump so he could sit in your lap needless to say we had to make him stop before he got to big but they sure are just the sweetest little creatures with their fuzzy muzzles and their high little voices. God bless you guys for taking such good, loving care of them.

The DNA for cuteness is really stamped on those foals. Those blazes are to die for.

It's obvious Sage is feeling so much better. She's gained some weight too. I love her coloring. The matching white blazes going down their faces is just too cute.
Watching what you do for these baby horsies makes me smile and warm inside. It is a much-needed escape from this meat grinder I am trapped in. I had a 20-acre ranch up in the hills but had to move back to the concrete jungle due to health, age, financial issues. I miss my animals. Horses, goats, sheep, chickens, dogs, barn cats, possums, raccoons. I'd give anything to go back there.
Sage is looking fantastic, they both are! Bless you both for saving them.

Oh they are adorable and yeah they have fairly grown. They just adore their Mam and Dad. You have a beautiful paddock to play in and the big shed will make a wonderful bedroom 😊😊 I know that you will do your very best for them, You lovely lovely people 🍎❤🍏💚🍎❤🍏💚🍎

I would LOVE to have my yard of foals to play with! do you ride the range of wild horses once a week to look out for feral foals? I would; I would hate to think there are more abandoned foals waiting for you to find them...

Thank you for rescuing these foals. IMHO: foals wake up in the morning and say to themselves, “What kind of trouble can I get into today?” I would be concerned to keep foals in your backyard. There are way too many “objects” they could get hurt on. Namaste:))
