Wild Mustang & a boy
A young boy gentling a wild mustang! This horse is 3 days out of the wild and totally incredible!! Life lesson skills are being learned, nothing better than a horse and kid learning together! This is not the norm for a wild mustang only 3 days out of the wild, but the perfect horse to teach my son! ❤️ #americanmustang #wildtomild #love #learningisfun #boymomlife #mustanggentling

Both child and horse did well for a first time
That was very special to watch + this little boy + his horse will become inseparable in time. 😁🐎💕
I like the patience of both and of the lady too. ❤
Congratulations young man & mama . Treat em with treat’s & a brush he’ll luv ya for it .
The only thing this child needs to do is for safety reasons …but from what I’ve seen, these two are building trust together…awesome job. It takes lot of time and patience to build trust and respect for each other. This horse is beautiful and very calm with the child, not running away when it is being fitted with the halter, he definitely is responsive to the child’s gentle and, excuse me, clumsy at times attention, but how do you learn anything except by being clumsy but with practice and repetition and in doing better? That can NEVER be taught on computers, only by doing it. I know, I too was that green in handling horses, but no matter how old you are, you still keep learning new and better ways to handle horses or anything else in life for that matter, by practicing and learning how to accomplish them within your own limits and in a timely manner. It takes patience and perseverance, a commitment to get the job done right. The boy done well. It will take more time for the boy to feel more comfortable at what he is doing, but time and practice will do the rest, that is if the boy truly understands and loves horses and wants to do what’s right and best for his horse. Never have a hotheaded person around animals, they will pick up the negative emotions and will NOT want to do anything with you. Take if from someone who knows this, and have seen how it ruins a perfectly good animal into something that will be uncomfortable and uncontrollable in the future. Love, respect, kindness, compassion, patience and understanding are the keys to learning how to be a better person and/or rider around and among animals. I hope the boy and the horse become the loving companions that comes with love and trust for each other, friends inseparable. Love this video….👍❤️🙏🏼🇺🇸

Love that looooong tail!
Great job everyone❤❤❤
Absolutely beautiful. Great persistence and a lovely natured mustang with hint of cheekiness. There's always people who attack so don't give up because of them. I've been where you're boy is with horses and bulls I don't know.😂

Nice job mom and broke well...
That is definitely a very TAME and quiet horse. Different title is needed.
I can understand people having safety issues with this, but sometimes, parental instincts are spot on. This kid learnt things from this he could learn no other way. I love animals dearly, and I always tend to give them the benefit of the doubt. Don't be surprised if this kid excel's at horsemanship, and that's thanks to his mom. ❤😊❤

I do not think this "wild" mustang is all that wild. The horse has braids in its mane, so I think this horse has been gentled.

You won't believe this but I was once able to braid a wild horse's mane when it was actually in the wild. (I have photos as well but obv I don't wanna dox myself.) "Wild horse" doesn't equal "scared horse"; that's normalized when it shouldn't be. Wild horses do not need to be scared of humans, and to get close to one all you need to do is earn its trust. I now have a wild mare of my own and I was able to approach her and pet her/untangle her mane on day 1 of her arrival. Patience and calmness is all you truly need to work with a horse and ear their trust. And no fear.
The horse is willing...
IF at first you Don't Succeed, try and try again.🎉
So video says "Wild" Mustang. I'm curious if this is a wild Mustang who braided this beautiful animals mane? Seems pretty tame to me. Also, "if" it is wild, it's completely not safe for small child trying to put harness on. There is so much wrong in this video

Actually wild horses tend to be a lot calmer around younger children because they don't have as much fear as adults. And children are generally less scary in the eyes of animals. It is perfectly safe for him to be working with this mustang. Age does not matter. My first horse was an untrained mustang who I got at age 14, and I started training her completely alone. Wild horse = dangerous animal is a stereotype that isn't true in reality if you work with them with an open mind and heart.

Yup, he is 3 days out of the wild! He’s a wonderful horse and an exception! Perfect opportunity for my kid to learn! Clearly I have no clue what I’m doing and haven’t gentled over 25 mustangs with great success! How are kids going to learn if we do everything for them? That is what’s wrong with our world! There is NOTHING wrong in this video, take a moment to educate yourself and learn from this kiddo!
Semplicemente Fantastico 😚

They’re wild horses roaming the Midwest! They’re wild bred so “mutts” of the horse world because we will never know what their breeding is! They’re American Legends!
The horse is trying to help him actually 🤷🏼♀️

That horse is not "wild." So the title of this video is misleading.

@@SBFMustangEventingso you're okay with teaching your children to lie? Because obviously, that horse is not wild. He has a braided mane for crying out loud.
This is a terrible case child endangerment you are laughing. At least teach him to do it correctly. And with safety in mind

I think the mother did a great job. To much cotton woofing of children and they don’t learn anything. This horse was curiously interacting with the boy, energy reading is skill we seem to have forgotten, maybe if more practice it the world would be a better place.
