Im a metal head from UK listen to Sabbath Slayer Anthrax etc but I also listen to other music and this track is one of my favourites , its a beautifully crafted up lifting song so well executed by the band . Now I play my metal through a big Yamaha Amp and floorstanding speakers to get concert volume and feel and this track sounds lovely through them

Barry hemmy : I agree with ya, it's my go to cheer me up make me fell better tune! The singer has a beautiful voice an I've tried to sing it karokee an it's really difficult! This took me back as a great friend of mine Lia from Bournemouth.was a backing singer when this band played in Poole Dorset.. she said she had messed up the dancing routine and got upset. I met her about a year later and she always made me laugh! She passed away last year in Florida where her and husband Roni were living. One night we were messaging about all the fab music from the 80s!. I knew she had cancer. But was shocked at her passing a few weeks later. Fat Larry's band will always remind me of Lia I hope she's listening to her sounds in the sky. Rest in peace liaxxx❤🎉

Ah, this beautiful song takes me back to the early 1980s. A simpler time and great childhood memories, before life started to become complicated and a grind. However I know what you mean, particularly in the 70's, there was a lot of American music played down under (as everywhere) such as The Carpenters, The Doobie Brothers, Bread, The Eagles, The Doobie Brothers and Boz Scaggs. Play them and enjoy them all...especially the unbelievable voice of Karen Carpenter. Enjoy!

The 1980s were magical for me I was 8 years old in 1982 and in my third year of primary school

Bet they never thought someone like me , born 10 years after this song was made would be listening to it in 2024❤

My dad played this in the car when I was an early teen, haven't heard it since then and I still remembered all the words instantly.

I was at the age when you start dating guys and this track was doing the rounds on radio, I am talking about the 80's when you would sit in front of the radio and listen to your favourite songs. These days, I have a cellphone and Ipod on which I have songs..my memories of the 80's will be with me forever!!!!!

fat Larry James, was the drummer, died of a heart attack in 1987, this is the best song, I remember it like it was yesterday, when it came out, time less :)

What makes Freddies voice sound even better on this is that he sounds like he's got a cold,which gives his voice that stereo sound 👌🏾

Listening in 2021 this song will never get old defo the best song ever absolutely amazing who still listens to it
