You know he's really trying to help us when he didn't try and add an extra 8 seconds for an extra ad. Thanks Daric.
I don’t even have a bass bro I just like what you do 😂🖤
Clean, clear, and precise is the only way to communicate in any language!
Love how you put it forth I'm definitely taking in these teaching
That playing hard 6:50 just gave me a huge boost after feeling like my speed wasn't moving much. I instantly noticed a difference. Teddy Blackman
Daric, I appreciate you taking time to help me understand how to play. I bought a used bass and it is currently being restored. Once it is completed, I will get getting your yearly package. You are a Great teacher!!!!!!!
Hats off to you D. Slowly but surely mu bass playing is progressing. As soon as I can I will even it up with the Academy. Thanks again.
Thanks for the lessons. I'm gonna go with these tips
Thanks for the great tips. I have a lot of practice ahead of me!
Love this!
Awesome Lesson!!
Daric, this is gold. When I get some cash up I’m going to sign up for your website so I can level up.
Great lesson! 👍
Your videos are great! You’ve really help my mental as far as how to approach progression on my instrument. I think dissection videos would be cool. Pick a song and break down the bass lines. A lot of people do these but your perspective would be cool.
Great tips!
Thank you my friend.
Great vid!!! - and love that Bass!! 🙏🙏🙏
As funny as it sounds, I learned tip #5 a long time ago watching Dragonball Z as a kid LOL, several examples of resistance training in that show (Piccolo wearing heavy clothing, Goku training under heavier gravity, etc) and a lightbulb just clicked to apply it to bass. I teach my students the same concept now (including the DBZ reference lol), it really does help...great video Daric keep it up.
Thanks so much on the playing hard tip
Thank you very much for breaking this down and posting !!!!

I Love your style of Basswood and I have not played in a while I need my speed back.
Great tutorial
Daric, another killer video. Thank you for sharing! Any chance you could tell us the fingering for the arp exercise?

And he probably paid under $2000 for it... A testament to all the hype on those ridiculously priced guitars and basses..
You are really awesome
Sick 👊🏿 Wassup DB. Love from Uganda 🇺🇬
you definitely got the magic
Hi, can you do a video on simple fills to move from one chord to another in a progression? To spice up your bass line more or less.
Love you lessons

Jaco was a pioneer and is great to learn from. But its better to be a first rate original than a second rate cover. Make it our own.
I really enjoy this guy!! Great player!!

Hey Daric, this might have nothing to do with ur video but can you please do a simple 1,6,2/4,5 progression but will fills or riffs when approaching the different numbers... Please 🙏😇GBU
Daric ever thought about writing gospel exercise book ?
What is the bass guitar in this video: brand, model? Souds cool, like a Fender.
I like having one bass strung with flats and then a different one with round wounds, then I play the flats hard as if I am trying to rip them out of the instrument.
Good , how can i have an ease in the modes, the notes, to pass licks ?
As of this posting, no one has said this yet so let me say... that "muddy/not clean" section you played as an example at 2:39? Those overlapping bleeding of notes? Very very flavorful and full of funk, but I guess that's another topic/video to explore. Thanks for sharing!

@@lydellscooby Exactly. OG Daric might need a stunt double to play the "unclean" notes he's trying to show.

I can play pretty fast using 3 plucking fingers, index/middle/ring. Is this a good idea or should I limit it to just my 2 fingers, index and middle?
Playing difficult licks and ruff cleanly and up to speed is always of high interest
💙👊😎
I always play along at around 70 percent speed at start and then push. after five six tries I am up there.
Sounds like suite golden dawn
