  i play the bass for 32 years, it is a very good advice for novice players, but i got to downtune the low B to F, and in that particular case, gauge matters, and your response too brother! hugs

  Pattern 1 is actually a (right Hand started) paradiddle and a (left Hand started) 1st inversion of a paradiddle

  Thank you so much for this video, all the informations that you provided is truly a great resource to have in mind! As a beginner, it’s extremely helpful. But I have a question, how do i know which bass notes will be played in between of the metronome beats, instead of coinciding with them? Because sometimes the bass doesn’t just go straightforward, but has a groove.. And is it different when playing with drums?
