Great tips as usual! Yes, you can’t tell those church mothers they’re not sharp! Lastly, I have designated my 17 year old my final fashion consultant. Teenagers’ eye is usually right on point. Thank you for your fantastic videos.

I learn something new everyday because had no idea about the loops on dresses.

Angela, you have the most beautiful skin. My word. Along with the belt stays in #4 are the plastic or fabric shoulder straps that keep garments on the hangers in stores. I've seen many a woman out with those sticking out of their neckline. It looks horrible. I cut those off as soon as I get them home.

Everyday that you wake up, you learn. I was today’s years old when I found out about the belt loops. They even have a name - stays. I have never been a fan of them especially on knits. Now I know. Thank you very much for this information

Dear Ms Angela, if you have mentioned it in previous videos, I apologize sincerely; if not, one other thing to cut when you have purchased a camisole or dress are the loops inside the shoulders that also, help to keep the dress on the hanger and/or falling off it. I always cut those loops off and clip that thread on jacket pockets, or back of it " the X" you mentioned and off a suit skirt. I worked retail in my younger years. 👀 👍🏾 Great vlog Angela on how Not to ruin your look! I Love how you and Production enjoy each other!! ❤️❤️✌🏾

Thank you, Angela! For me, this was useful refresher content. I have never liked logos, but sometimes it's difficult to escape them and in that case, I gravitate towards inconspicuous logos. Amen to wearing a properly fitted bra as well as the other undergarments, which you've addressed in previous videos. Eyewear: As a 64-year old woman, I wear my spectacles all day long. I have graduated from reading glasses to progressive lenses (distance &reading). My progressive glasses and prescription sunnies were not cheap, but they are definitely in vogue. Several years ago, I did have a pair of red wire frame reading glasses (rectangular shape) and I received multiple compliments, so I think some wire frames can be stylish. One more thing, my optician has excellent taste and helps me select glasses and what I learned from her is that because I have a full face, I cannot wear a heavy looking frame. The thinner type frames are more flattering for my face. May the Lord God bless you real good!!!

Angela...you are a true hoot...i love how you incorporate humor in your videos. You spoke to me about the bra size....recently with the aging process (not sure if it's hormone related), I have boob spillage on either sides of my bra cups....I know it's because my bra is too small now. I just recently bought new sports bras from Under Armour that fit perfectly....I followed the instructions on their sizing chart. Thanks for the reminder.....off to get bra fitted tomorrow. LOL!! Keep those videos coming.

Hey Angela. Love your videos. Another fashion habit that ruins an outfit is people who buy shoes and don't remove the tags from the bottom. I have nothing against those shoes but it cheapens an outfit when the tag is not removed.

I don’t agree with belt thread loop removal in all cases. If the thread color clashes horribly, remove. However, if the belt is meant to sit somewhere besides your waist (empire or low hip placement) the thread stays were sewn specifically to hold the belt in place during wear and will blend in with the dress fabric. They are also good for body shapes that don’t have a defined waist, but want a belt in a particular torso position. I have one dress with elongated loops, tacked down in the middle. Depending on your height (or preference) you run the belt through either the upper or lower stays. Loops are good IF they are properly placed for you and invisible on the garment. They are easy to move/resew if necessary for the look, but not in the right position for your body.

Great tips as usual, I never knew about the belt string! 😆 TFS

I agree with you, I think the most often items ruining a womens look is the wrong bra & the wrong glasses! I know I have pared down a bit on the costume jewelry these last few years, even though I still am a great lover of it, but maybe since I am now 65 I can qualify as a church mother...lol! I never did like the thread belt loops on clothes, but never thought to cut them off! New subscriber!
