Oh you hit the nail on the head with bras being number 1 on your list. I see so many women, old AND young, who are walking around with I'll fitting bras. Or none at all. Their number one complaint is" I'm not paying $50+ for a bra!" Meanwhile their breasts are hanging close to their elbows/belly buttons!! Those good bras go on sale too. Check them out sometime.

Traveling to Morocco, was going to buy tunics...now rethinking.

Certified Bra Fitter here! Honey! I am a loyal Wacoal Bra wearer. My skin loves it too - never a RED mark. I purchase the entire line. Awesome INVESTMENT Angela. Not the Aunt Ester pantyhoses. 🤣🤣🤣 There are so many matching skin tones available. I am adding elastic to my bell shelves. As far as the shoes...well, pretty hurts. I agree. Honey that round toe loafer was the only shoe that I could wear while being on my feet for 10-12 hrs a day. I needed the arch support. Girl, I hated them, but I needed them for work. Love buying the oversized shirts and chunky jewelry. Keep us looking classy Angela. Love you!

As for Birkenstocks.....I've been wearing them since my university days in the 70s. Birkenstock has evolved over the decades as has other footwear. There are styles that are the evergreens and have basically stayed the same since the beginning. But, there are also some really cool styles. Plus, Birkenstock has had collabs with Proenza, Rick Owens, Ader Error, Dior, Valentino, Stussy, Jill Sander (Velan lace-up Clog Sandals), Staub, Manolo (fuchsia velvet-like Birks with Roger Vivier-inspired crystal side buckles, etc. As with most things, it all depends on how an item is being styled. I'm in my 60s, but style my Birks in different ways. I also have plenty of stylish sandals by other brands. It all depends on what stylish look I'm going for. Greetings from Los Angeles

My first pair of Birkenstock was the Arizona style in Rose Gold. I wear them all summer. They add a pop of color or coordinate to my outfits.

Great advice! I bought several heels this fall-I couldn’t wear them. Thank you for mentioning the loafers.

I agree with the thick stockings they look like compressions ones 🤣. Being plus size I always went for the handkerchief hem or Bell sleeves because they covered the areas I'm least a fan of. But of late I'm noticing that if I go for more tailored looks, cleaner lines, my style looks fresher. Also tip for plus size, if you're wearing peplum tops, go for softer fabrics that drape nice. Stiffer fabrics can add to your frame and make you look bigger. Also for trousers go for tailored in quality fabric. If like me you have bigger thighs that are let's say dimply, some fabrics will show this where as quality fabric will skim over it and give you a nice smart look

That dress you’re wearing with the puff shoulder should have been no. 1 on the list. One shoulder looked uneven with the other and it reminds me of the 1980’s. Alter to lay on the shoulder for a more flattering modern look of 2023.

I agree about the Bra situation and Wacoal is the most awesome for a woman's needs! The leggings are awful on anyone over a certain weight and I think all of us should invest in a full length mirror so we can check both front and back of ourselves before going out of the home! I always say "Didn't they look in the mirror" when I see people wearing certain things. The front and back should be checked before leaving the house-no backside showing through your "leggings" and everyone should be wearing a bra that fits.

Hello Angela, Thanks for the fashion tips. I agree with most of your assessments, except the Birkenstocks. The Birkenstocks are now back on trend, but for me, they always will be a summer staple. When you are going on long ways or to festivals, my silver Birks gets tons of compliments. I must choose function and comfort over being cute. The days of my feet hurting to "look cute" are over. BTW, Manolo has done collaborations with Birkenstocks that are so cute, but a bit costly.

This was amazing! EVERY SINGLE item you discussed, I've been trying to get a good friend to stop wearing it for years!

I liked your advice, although I have to disagree with your view on the bell sleeves. If the material is a very good quality, if the color/pattern is beautiful, and if the bell sleeve is not overly exaggerated, then if can still be a fashionable piece of clothing. I don't wear bell sleeves that often but, I'm not getting rid of the three items that I owe which are dressy and are beautiful to me! To each his own!!

I think bell sleeves and handkerchief hems suit some artistic people and dancers. A preferred style that flatters some ladies. What I don't understand are people with 50 shoes. I guess because I am a retired educator, many young people with poor shoes and have very limited clothing, particularly sweaters and jackets. Please donate ladies.

Great video! I love button ups and agree that they are a great alternative to tunics but! I would say the chunky jewelry is an older look and is just as dated as the tunic. Its a more sophisticated aesthetic but dated. Layering chains or pendants would be my alternate suggestion.

You are right about the chunky jewelry… it gives old lady vibes. But I do believe an interesting and/or pretty necklace is the way to go. Layering is on trend now, but I think it is more effective to wear something that brings the attention upward.

I love to pair a tunic tops with leggings but I hate the tunic tops with the ugly grandma prints. I like a simple classic tunic in a solid or modern color.
