I am new to sewing. Like never made my own clothes. But im tired of not having comfy clothes. I can guarantee i will make mistakes.

My mom tried to give me her Brother machine but omg trying to thread and load the bobbin was an exercise futility. One year i got a ton of joanns gift cards and the machine was on sale. I paid 60$ for it.

I’m a member of Sew It Academy! since 2018 I’ve seen a few pieces for myself however I watch @angelamarshelle ( great tips) & a few other content creators find what’s trendy & attempt to make what strikes my fancy when watching their KZread channels…or I look for dupes…sewing is costly too…!¡!

It’s really no rules. Just start by wearing things you love in your closet. Then move onto using a color wheel to start mixing and matching other items. Next thing you know getting dress is a breeze. Good luck!!

Miss Angela-such good tips. I follow the “buy multiple” rule if it flatters my frame. I also purge my wardrobe every six months-if it hasn’t been touched, I donate it. I agree with having staple classic cut pieces. You’re so on point!!! So helpful-Thank You ❤😁

Already took many pots and pans I never use anymore and/or over use...next silverware and plastics,mugs,vases(way too many). Then the next project to declutter is bdrm closet...GOODWILL HERE THEY COME🤭🫶🏾

I really enjoyed this video. I have a mixture of mostly classic staples, and a few trendy pieces.

You have such a colorful collection of shoes, and funky. Decided to spice up my collection of basic serviceable shoes. Selection is limited for 11/12s medium width, but I found some funky medium heels and ordered last night. Thanks! I have some new gowns I’m going to gift a tall friend. Just not a 10/12 anymore 😃

Hi, y'all, naw no laughing but, when I look in the mirror I see a box, pear, melon shape Is this possible. I mean I have a few things going on.

Having the “come to Jesus moment” is crucial, release those items to someone else who will wear and enjoy them. That way you have more room to get new things you will cherish. It’s hard but I purge quarterly.
