Definitely liked the dyson side for the simplicity. About your curls falling fast, apply a styling mousse or foam before curling for hold. They have some good ones out there..
Julissa’s makeup looks so cute (always) ❤️💕
I, new subscriber to your channel, looked at your video about the "fake" dyson airwrap and bought it cuz I could never aford the real one and you saved me! I got sooooo happy that i took the currage to buy it even if its fake. So thank you :) Im from Sweden by the way :)
Girl, I hear you! The dyson makes beautiful curls I just don’t know why they don’t last longer on your hair. Your hair it’s curly in its natural state. In my opinion $550 for a tool that my hair is not going to stay for a bit it’s too expensive. I love your videos and your honesty in them- keep them coming💕

@Marlene Mejia us curly haired girl have problem getting our hair to stay styled into curls. I have similar hair texture to Julissa and if I do curls on my hair it might stay for a day or two max. But I haven’t try the stain airwrap so I’m not sure how different it will be with my hair
It looked like the "knock-off" curls were lasting longer than the Dyson curls. Was that your experience after the video ended? Thanks for doing this video. I'd never seen either curler before.
Hey, can you please compare the other attachments of both? I want to see if the knock of straightens it. 😊
Love this video!!! I love your face with the fake one like oh boy this isn’t dyson!!! But the knockoff is so much cheaper than the dyson. And your makeup is gorgeous!!! Luv u
Can u try this on someone with finer hair and or shorter hair cuz it might be better for others who have finer hair
I love how you always honest 😊 favorite youtuber 💖
Thank you for your video I was honestly debating on these same 2 product's but you helped me make my decision... thank you 🙏🏾💯
I agree, I keep hoping Dyson will offer a bigger round brush attachment because I tend to use bigger round brushes with my normal dryer and would rather have one I could just put on my airwrap! They released smaller smoothing brush attachments so maybe they will keep going with new attachments 🤞🏼
Hy Julissa. First I just want to said your makeup is on point. It looks so good . I LOVE the original better it grabs the hair so easily and the curls come out so beautiful. Unfortunately it cost to much. Congrats on your 10k. More good things are coming your way. Great video as always keep up the good job God bless you always.
I think you have to let your hair absorb the water for a bit before you try to curl with the dupe, that's what I saw in another video! Love the video btw!
Why does the dyson have to be so crazy expensive 😭😭😭

i have the knockoff and it honestly works amazing for me and i have very long hair. i just dont wet my hair and i hold my section of hair between my fingers 3 inches from the ends so that the curler can take my hair from the bottom and wrap it first and then i go up the hair. i get many compliments on my curls so i definitely recommend the dupe! $550 for the dyson does not seem worth it to me
Can you do a review on the Lunata hair straightener
Did you use the "Dyson" blow dryer" first" to blow dry your hair straight? If so, did you use one of the flat brushes to blow dry hair straight?
@browningbarbie3520

I'm curious too, if I blow dry mine straight it won't ever hold curl, I have to air dry then curl it
Hey is your fake revlon one step hair dryer still working???? Lots of love❤️
Hi,I think you need to hold the cold shot for longer, like till your hair feels cool and then release it xx
I have the Dyson airwrap and my curls do last but I have shoulder length hair that has long layers and is kinky. My son’s girlfriend has used my airwrap and her curls won’t take or last unless she sprays every section with hairspray as her hair is completely straight and long.

Can u pls review the ghd rise?
Girl I need help! Okay so you see how the fake one like you said you kinda need to help it a little ? That’s how I struggle with my AirWrap!! Idk if I’m using too much hair or too much product or what’s going on or maybe because my hair isn’t really long. It’s such a struggle!
Thank you for this honest review, after watching your video I decided to give myself a nice Christmas gift, so I just bought the Dyson. I hope I like it, but your hair is thick just like mine, so I believe it will work

Use foam rollers or do pin curls and set your hair with the right products. Your curls will last days untill you wash it.
Is Ali express legit tho? I wanted to buy this but it won’t let me purchase as guest , I have to make an account which I thought was weird.
I bought the dupe after seeing the first video and was a little nervous about it after seeing this one. I just got it today and I already love it. However...my hair is right above the shoulders, slightly wavy, baby fine but coarse. I have no issues with it grabbing my hair it does it well and it curls really well and the curls are lovely. I had dry hair, but spritzed with a styling spray and my hair was not damp or wet. I think that might be part of the problem with it grabbing the hair. It may do better on some dry. On me it seems to grab like the Dyson does in the video (I have not used the Dyson though). If I didn't know which it was and was blind testing it, I'd think it grabbed like the Dyson. However, others have also shown it can struggle with grabbing the hair. (Will link to a playlist of videos below.) I think if you have heavy hair it might be a problem. And agreed that the brush attachments aren't going to be as good as say the Revlon One Step (what I have and use, and definitely would be better than this for most folks for that type of hair drying due to the brush itself), or a clone to straighten or style in that manor. I think one would be very disappointed if they wanted it for that. But it might add root volume or be good for those with shorter hair for styling but not really a lot of straightening for curls. However, the round bristled brush that would be difficult to straighten curly hair, it would pull and tangle like crazy...it actually with the strength of the dryer (It's almost like it's sucking the hair in even on that tool too.) I could not pull it out of my hair while it was on. My hair was clamped down on it and I did not wind it that tight. I do not have that problem with other hot brushes, even strong ones. I had to turn it off and slowly unwind. This isn't a bad thing, it left a wave and with some practice I think it will be a useful tool too. But someone with longer hair or curlier, might end up with a brush tangled in their hair and stuck (happened to me as a kid when I didn't know how to use a round brush properly). The hair dryer, is surprisingly pretty strong. I have not dried wet hair yet with it but will test it. I have and love the Elchim Health Ionic. It's expensive but worth every penny, and if I had to replace items in a disaster, it would be one of the first things I would pick due to how quickly it dries my hair vs drugstore or even the T3. I call the Elchim my "wind tunnel" dryer. I've hated drying my hair my whole life and now I don't mind at all. I don't think this is as strong as the Elchim, but it's at least as strong as the strongest drugstore dryer and probably a little more wind than the T3. If you like wind and hot heat, you might like it. I was surprised by how much wind and hair movement on dry hair it gave. I'll test and report back later on wet. (I just rough dry and straighten or curl when damp.) There were a few issues...first of all the stink when it's first used. A lot of hairtools have this. But it's pretty bad and 30 min later I still smell it like it's stuck up my nose. It's a strong plastic smell but nothing was burning, overheating or malfunctioning. I hope it gets better with use. Also, I did not place the "air wrap" wand properly and it kept falling off. There were no instructions with mine (I got the boxed with not case version). You place it and twist not just place it on the unit. It's easy once you get the hang of it. The heat on high heat is pretty hot. I may use a temp gun and test it and report back. MY hair is VERY difficult to curl even with irons, tools on the hottest setting. It's either not there or falls right out. So far so good with this, but we'll see how long it lasts. I like my tools strong and hot due to this, and this meets the mark. It's probably pretty close to if not a bit hotter than the Revlon One Step dryer. It's loud and sounds pretty strong, it's not one of those weak drying brushes (the rotating ones are nice but so weak, I have a Babyliss one that just does not get hot, if it did it would be so great). I don't know how long this will last, but for the price it's great. I'd still love a Dyson. And if this didn't last I know how much I'd love a Dyson. You'd have to see how long this lasted by the price and see what makes more sense with the warranty (no warranty card with this at all, and I can't see any brand or name on the maker, but I was so impressed I wanted to see if they made other tools). If they only had a better bristle brush and square brush, it would be better. Julissa, love you and your reviews and honesty and that you show us tools we might not even know about and the ones to skip. I think you're totally right about this for heavy hair. This might be better for those with fine hair. Julissa, hope this is okay but here is a list with other (many foreign language) (added yours to this list) folks who seem to have the same issue with the suction and grip. I did not but my hair is baby fine. So I'm updating this as I try the tools more...the paddle square brush today on freshly washed rough blow dried hair slightly damp...my hair is fine, coarse and slightly wavy. The square brush did give nice volume to the roots, and my hair went through it well and it was good and hot and pulled the hair close...but...no smoothing at all for me, so minimal it's not worth it. Also I could not get nice ends or any turn under or flip up (either one) with the paddle brush attachment. Good for roots but not much else.

Thankful for your review of the dupes! Makes me feel a little better about trying them out. I just can’t see spending $550 + another $40 for the longer barrels. I’m thinking I can use my revlon one step for volume and this when I need big curls

@@erickawoods9366 I haven't tried the real Dyson, but from the video's I've seen it looks like the Revlon One Step is better for blow out's and straightening, and is for sure better on that than the dupe (round brush or paddle). I wouldn't even bother trying to straighten with it. I've got the blow dryer attachment version also ordered and if it's any good I'll update. I really do like the Dyson dupe for easy curls...but, if your hair is long or heavy it may or may not work.
My hubby bought me the Dyson Air Wrap for Christmas. I have to say the way the Dyson grabs the strands of hair while curling is cool BUT the only problem I have with it is the curls don't stay in that long, not even a full day, they fall out no matter how much hairspray i put in they ALWAYS seem to go flat.

Try setting your hair with cushion curlers
Add a curling mousse and a bit of hairspray after and it should hold your curl better!
Where is the Airwrap made?
Ur reviews are so best😘
Can I ask which is probably a dumb question, but what affect are you talking about? Wanza affect?
Honestly I like the knock off side it looked a lot better with the exception of a couple of the ends. The Dyson side curls were very loose and had fallen quickly like she had said. And for $500 no I don’t think it’s worth it that’s way too much money in my opinion to be spending on some thing where you can get a product that does the same thing yes you have to put a little bit more work into the other knock off product as far as wrapping it around the barrel but still the curls looked a lot better with a knock off
Is the knock off an Airstyle Pro?
Girl I have a question: are the air wrap attachments compatible with the Revlon one step plus?

I think the real review is your face expression! When using the Dyson you looked really satisfied, when using the dupe you looked kinda irritated! I watched this to decide which one to get for my daughter's bday and you've convinced me to drop the $$$ on the real thing, she deserves nice things
