Hey, Thank you soooo much for this.... hard to find instructions for this tool. I bought it from an 'advert' from Tik Tok. The video advertisement was a little misleading as it indicated you could do a '90s blowout' from the tool. However, what you said in this video makes more sense. It is for 'renewing' a current blowout. As a curly hair girl with extremely fine hair (and a bit of it).... also... I am aging... so trying to keep my hair healthy and not snapping... is difficult. It was a relief to hear your thought. This video has helped me (a newb at hair styling) very very very much. Thank you... 💖💖💖💖💖💖

Wish this had different heat settings. I have color treated hair (blond) and this thing gets super hot and I mean hot like the Revlon one step dryer gets. Too hot to touch my hair when doing it so sadly, it's going back.

I love FHI. I have one of their flat irons. I wouldn't really call it affordable at $220, but maybe they were cheaper back in the day. I love that super thin nozzle on the attachment. Happy birthday!! 💜

I have seen a lot of these and the denman seems like a waste of money. All the tangle teezer sides look nearly the same and it actually detangles your hair too.

Hello guys! Just a review of this tool. I used the Shark Smoot Style today for the first time. I got it for my birthday and was really excited to use it. You’re right this tool is impressive. It does a real good job. I must say that I dried my mid-length hair with a towel first and left them inside during 1 hour and a half before using it. Then, I took the smooth style to dry my hair cautiously with the highest level of intensity. After about 5 or 6 minutes, they were dried. Finally I use it to blow dry my hair during 5 more minutes with the correct mode. And that’s it! Done after about 15 minutes. They are smooth and curly. Usually, it takes half an hour to make the whole thing. The only point that I would describe as negative is the heaviness of the tool. It’s very big and imposing! It would have been better if the Brand put two different types of brushes and it weighed less. Nevertheless, I am satisfied with the result.

Guuurl!! what a beautiful finish. I watched your Dyson video also and I am convinced Shark will be a better option for me. Like you, I also have curly hair. I am not interested in the diffuser. I am going to order the de-freeze tool, though. I feel Dyson won't be hot enough to style my hair. Dyson runs at 158F approximately, and Shark at 180F... anything below 350F is a winner, but I feel Dyson was designed and marketed for a high-end customer with straight hair, for the most part. I can't wait to get my shark.. and if I ever change my mind, I will order the Dyson when it goes on sale again. It's $100 cheaper this memorial day weekend!!!

I need a tool that can compete with this Japanese humidity! Its an avg 80% humidity yearly. But my curls also frizz. I cut my hair and it’s the worst now bc it’s just puff. It looks like the airstrait may need a chance from my end.

I have the Shark FelxStyle and was wondering if your comes off every so often when blow drying? I have the big round (oval) brush and falls off sometimes and since I have to pull to have a good blow out it feels flimsy - thoughts?

You have to first charge for 4 hours to get a full charge. It works good for me because I don't have lots of thick hair like you, do to do my whole head it takes about 6 each side. If you have lovely thick hair you'd be best with a different tool. This is good for travelling and for finer hair & it's cordless. Thanks for the demo 🙂
