I like the Chi side better. Thank you for explaining very precisely how each machine works. I’m glad you timed it so we can see how long it would take to do each side with the 2 different styling tools. I also appreciate you showing how you run the brush through the hair to achieve a Hollywood look. I always learn so much every time I see your video. Thank you for pointing out that one curls (Chi) and the other one does waves (Calista). I wish you continued success in everything you do.

The Chi looks much better!

The Calista actually beeps while it's curling and it's not done til it beeps fast multiple times. It is NOT done on the first beep!

Thank you!! I've been looking at this type of hair curling tool for many months trying to decide which kind to buy. I've been leaning toward the CHI, but even with that brand there are different models. One CHI says it contains lava & somehow that makes it better?? I've watched a lot of videos showing how to use A specific brand & model, but yours is the first one I've seen that really compares two brands, literally side by side. I really liked that you tied all your hair back & then demonstrated how each tool made the curl on opposite sides! No other video I've seen has done that. You gave me a close up, one on one view of each curl, without all the rest of your hair in the way. Brilliant idea! And even though you placed your hair to curl one way in the CHI when you wanted it to go the other way, you were honest & it still looked good. I loved how you didn't just give your opinion, but all through the entire video you also gave a lot of valuable information. Like how long each one took to warm up, make the curls & do an entire side. You compared the size of each brand & told us which one was a bit easier to use. You also showed us the end results & which one could make the curls tighter & all around more versatile. You have helped me tremendously in making my decision! I hope my hair will look as good as yours after I use my new CHI Spin & Curl! And I'm now subscribed to your channel! Win win! 😀🙋👍❤

Just followed you on FB and Insta, love how honest you are in your videos. Its because of your review that I purchased the Revlon all in one hair dryer and volumizer (that might not be the actual name, but I’m sure you know which one I mean. lol!). My hair is very thick, mostly straight, but I have random waves that I always try to blow out. Can’t wait to try it!!

I really like that they can choose the curl left or right, I really suck at going the other direction for some reason on a manual hair iron.

Love the curls in the CHI side. The curls are more defined.

Definitely getting the air n curl because it has tighter curls , I live in humid weather so they tend to fall if it’s not a tight curl and I need it for my Christmas party and Christmas choir. And events or just feel like having curls I will use it.

I love the Chi side more and your hair is absolutely gorgeous

I have the Chi you can set the beep on the chi to what time you want, Also every time you respin it starts the clock over. You can remove it before the beep as well just depending on how quick your hair curls. I think the Chi side is so much better looking and again you can change the settings to make it quicker. The Calista didn’t look like it is digital so it could be really uneven on the heat.

The Calista has four temp settings and each setting has its own time set. It basically runs just like the Chi.

I like the Calista despite the fact that I have chi flat iron and it's amazing. I love chi products.

I definitely getting the chi spin and curl.

I like the Chi side. Your hair is so gorgeous I could imagine you could do anything to it and it would still be very pretty. I'm interested to see what the new appliances that you've ordered. Thanks for posting. 💜👍🏼

Your videos have been super helpful! I already bought the Revlon One Step Hair Dryer and Volumizer and I couldn´t be happier. And now I just ordered the Chi Spin N Curl on Amazon. I hated doing my hair (I have a lot, curly and long) and now it has even become kind of fun and in less than half the time that I normally needed. Thanks a lot, your videos are AWESOME! @@hayxo8743 Hi! I use it after blowing out my hair with the Revlon One Step. One time I used it directly without blowing out and the result is fine but not as perfect as using both tools. So yes, it does the trick without having to straight it before but it is not as pretty and won’t last for example for the next day.

After you brushed it out it looked like finger waves that I had to learn when I was in Cosmetology School.

My personal opinion, the chi side looked better. Before and after she brushed it.

LOVE your Sweater so pretty. At first I was liking the Calista side as it was fast but once I saw the chi side it was more my style of curls. I really need to buy that as I suck at curling my hair. I guess it just depends on how you like your curls.

I have the Calista, I use it literally everyday. My hair is very long, down to my butt, & this tool still works! It takes me 15 minutes for my whole head! I love it!!!

Have you used this without first straightening your hair? I typically brush my natural curl out before curling so I don't have to double process the hair.

Chi is the definite winner- better shaped and uniformed curls,better volume, better look overall, apart from being user friendly as you said and versatile

I feel like the CHI one have more volume and your hair are shinier

So the chi starts the 15 second stretch all over again if you press it while you’re in the middle of a curl that is why your hair was smoking. You can let go of the chi sooner if you want a looser curl so the Calisa side is doing the same thing if you let go at the same time. Hope that makes sense

I think you have to wait for ALL the beeps on the Calista side.

Team Chi base on shorter warm up time & tighter curls (prob since time is longer for them to set) plus shorter learning curve & less risk of tangling.

Do a makeup video and a hair products video.
