Pearl harbor is such a great movie. Very underrated. And this song is incredible.

It's honestly an underrated movie. There are a lot of reasons it's made fun of, some of those are earned. But I still think it was a solid movie. And yeah. Faith is like a fine wine- she just gets better with age.

Cry and Mississippi Girl are two more, and completely different, sides of faith hill. I miss hearing her on the radio.

When I hear this song, it reminds me of my mom, who passed away in 2008....miss you forever mom....💔

I was 31 in 2001. We had just been stationed in Germany the beginning of that year.

I was in Hawaii at the base going to see the USS Arizona memorial

I absolutely love this song. I know it's a love song, but it makes me think of my dad instead. I turned 11 in 2001. My dad died 4 years later. He was everything to me though.

One of my favorites of hers is her video of "You Can't Lose Me."

Pearl Harbor is one of my favorite movies!!!

And just recently, the last surviving crew man aboard the Arizona passed away. Half the casualties at Pearl Harbor were from the Arizona.

This song was played during the credits of Pearl Harbor. Faith Hill recorded this song for the movie. It's the exact same thing that Celine Dion did years earlier when she recorded "My Heart Will Go On" which was played during the credits of Titanic. The lyrics may be different but the meaning is the same. Both songs were recorded for the same purpose.

You posted this at the exact time my great grandpa passed away last night. He was a world war 2 veteran. I couldn’t watch this at that time, but I need to hear it. He was a pilot at that time. He left behind his beloved wife after 75 years of marriage this January. I’m sure she’s going to follow him soon, she may be far gone mentally but he’s been her constant since she was 14. He proposed before he left and he sent her to Paris to wait for him. Two officers came to her place and told her he had passed after going down behind enemy lines. She was about to marry another man when he walked in with his best friend who had tracked her down. She left with him and they got married two hours later, they’ve been married ever sense ♥️ much love and thank you for this. God bless! They will be together soon

I have not watched this movie Pearl Harbor either Billy ; I have heard although Pearl Harbor had incredible footage scenes ......it was very sad. I just have a really hard time watching War movies and I feel if and when I am up and ready to see Pearl Harbor I will watch it but I am NOT up for another tear jerker any time soon . I know you did this a month ago but it is an amazing movie...my 13 year old loves this movie before anyone says anything i dont let her watch the steamy parts lol!! But its exciting thrilling and sad all in one. Its heartbreaking knowing that's what they went through during pearl harbor!!

In 2001 I turned 13 but was still 12 when my whole family went to the movies to see it. We were all waiting to see what my grandfather thought of it. He was a Korean and Vietnam vet. I loved the movie and even had it on tape fyi it was so long it took 2 tapes.

I was 15 when this movie came out. My history teacher offered extra credit if we saw it and wrote a report and compared it to the actual history. My mom took me ... There was a old man (I'm assuming he was a veteran) sitting alone sobbing during the war scenes. It was horrible to see him cry. I dont think I'll ever forget that.
