Thank-you for reacting to this. It was one of the last 2 songs the late love of my life (always preferred that to "wife") and I shared before she passed. Everywhere I am there she'll be. She's always with our kids, our grandkids, everyone who knew and loved her and that she loved. She was a nurse who helped a lot of people. Sorry it took so long for me to react to it. Been a challenging time. Just catching up on content.

"Take me as I am", "Wild One", and "Breathe" are some really great Faith Hill songs (she really has too many to pick from). "It's Your Love" was the first song her and Tim sang in together (really good as well).

“It Matters to Me”, “piece of my heart”, “Wild One” are really good Faith Hill early hits. I also would like to suggest Tim McGraw’s “my next 30 years” “Highway don’t care” and “Angry all the time”. Randy Travis’s songs “On the Other Hand”, “I told you so”, “Is it still over”, “Whisper my name” and “Better Class of Losers” are excellent songs!! As always, thanks for the reactions!!

I've loved this song for so long and I never thought of how this could be about anyone. I lost my grandmother last summer and she was one who held me up and always believed in me. I had 47 years with my Nana. My kids had their great-grandmother into their adult years. Kinda goes along with the ever-cheesy "Wind Beneath My Wings" but when I put Nana in my thoughts....this is a great tribute.

OMG!!! I'm saying this before I even watch y'all's reaction. This is one of my most favorite songs by Faith Hill. It's from the movie Pearl Harbor. This song brings comfort to me. It reminds me about the deaths of my parents. They died five months apart in 2018. So, this song is very personal for me. Enjoy!

It really is a song that can apply to anyone in your life who has inspired you. I love the lyrics. And her vocals are insane. After Martina McBride, she has the most powerful voice in country, trying with Carrie Underwood. I suggest "Another Piece Of My Heart" which was one of her early releases. And 'Cry' is amazing.

This was supposed to replicate the success of My Hear Will On by Celine Dion, so the comparison is not out of nowhere. The people that made this wanted that comparison. Also I think the second video you found was also pitched up and it sounded very weird. If you wanted to hear a slightly better version there is a remaster available on her official channel

If you are talking about the movie Tora,Tora, Tora then you are correct. Excellent movie, watch it every December 7th. I don't hate the Ben Afflack Pearl Harbour movie. It's not ment to be necessarily about Pearl Harbour. The story in that movie is about the 2 boys that grew up together, their relationship together and their love for the same woman. Pearl was just a back drop to the story. Tora on the other hand was strictly about the events leading up to, during and after the attack. My favorite line in Tora was " You want confirmation? There's your confirmation " .

Pearl Harbor is my favorite movie but you have to look at it like the Titanic.. not historically correct, it’s a tragic love story

@@BourbonCountryReacts a man who was like a second father to me was at Pearl harbor the day they were attacked...he had the Honolulu newspaper and several things he brought home after the war. He would definitely agreed it was a cheesy movie and cheesy song.

This Pearl Harbor was a soap opera and sucked. This song was the best part of it.

I'm not mad. I agree, it was overdone, over produced, musically. It was like the musical score was competing with Faith's voice. The music didn't have to be 'grand' Faith's voice was 'grand' enough for the song. It did have a bit of a cheese quality to it because of the musical score. Loved the lyrics and, of course, Faith's voice.
