Yes, I haven't seen the whiskey jacks a lot this winter for some reason. They are here now, for a little while. They tend to disappear come spring again.

We always have a January thaw here in Ohio every year, but this year was warm pretty much all month except for maybe 7-10 days. We’ve had around 4-5 inches of snow all winter, strange year for sure!

Yes, el Niño has effected North America all over this year, compared to the last 3 years the weather has done a 180.

Thank you Cindy! It sure seems that way! Could get another blast of cool air, but the way this winter has been going I'm not sure! It is like the weather has been stuck in the autumn season for 5 months.

It seems so odd to see you in a t shirt at the cabin in January! Brunch looked great and I liked your giant pancake. Look forward to next episode to see how the heating solutions work!

It does happen every once in a while. I can not recall seeing +12C this time of year though, even in other El Nino years. More to come on the diesel heater and how it worked out!
