I never liked traditional journaling, you write down 'stuff' that's traumatic, at the least problematic, then it sits around just waiting for some one else to read or you keep ruminating about it. A journal for me was like a bomb waiting to go off. With expressive writing the bomb is literally thrown away. It is simplistic but it is also magical. One of the best interviews.
There is no true way. Words of wisdom. Write your way to health ? ! Better than talking.
