Can you please do a video on things to look out for when buying an Evo X. I’m looking into an Evo, coming from the Wrx platform, it’s completely different. Great video

When buying an evo just make sure you test drive it, make sure the clutch is good, ask if it has the upgraded timing chain and the last time it’s been replaced. Check for leaks(check the crankshaft seal) ask the last time the drivetrain fluids has been changed (supposed to change every 30k miles) Including Transfer case, rear differential and AYC Pump. ALSO make sure the fuses are fine ask if he upgraded the fuel relay.

I have a question my friend. So I wanted to know if I place my fully built head which is Gsc 2 cams, springs & retainers, and Ferrara flat valves; on to a stock oem block, would it be better to put back mivec on or keep it deleted, because while my head sat on a fully built & sleeve block I had to get my mivec deleted because my tuner said I needed more oil pressure, but I see many people running stock block/GSc head with mivec still.

Injectors should be chosen by your tuner. And usually based on power goals.

Hi nice content as always, quick question: does that setup affects the longevity of the engine ? Or the 4b11T it’s fine with 500hp on stock head and block ? ( of course with all supporting mods ) pretty much if the engine was designed to last X amount of miles but now with all those mods and bigger turbo and more fuel, etc etc. it’s going to have a shorter life ? Ron

Doesn’t matter if it was a built block or not 4bangars will always make way less torque..if it was all about torque everyone would just buy v8’s bud lol.. Horsepower keeps the car moving in the powerband so I don’t think it’s that big of a deal
