    Timing Question: I’m tuning an 03 evo 8, stock block fp black, gsc s3 cams w/ beehive springs and retainers. I’m having knock at higher RPMs, with conservative timing. 6,500+ rpms. My timing is 1-2 degrees at 4500 ramping to 5-6 at 6,000 then ramping to 7-8 at 8,000. Boost is around 26 psi on 93 octane. I’ve played with AFRs from 11.4 to 10.8 and the only thing consistent is it’s getting 2-3 counts of knock at that 6500+ rpm range. Not every single pill but more times than often. I’ve pushed my knock multipliers up 15-20% so high is 24. The only thing I can think is potential back pressure? I have an o2 dump on it, so maybe the black with the s3 cams require a bit more breathing than the 2.5 o2 housing? I recently got a map o2 eliminator with dump, so it’s a true 3 inch. Any suggestions for timing at these levels. From all I’ve read it seems low teens is what most run at redline. Thank you sir
