in this video , I tune an Evo X MR (auto), with kozmic 10 disc clutch upgrade. stock evo x turbo and stock downpipe, fic 1200cc injectors , map upper intercooler pipe, 50/50 bov.

Hey man, I can't thank you enough for the information you've provided. I've got a 2010 Ralliart now with an Evo X turbo, and with your videos I was able to get the car behaving well with no knock. You gave me confidence in understanding and I couldn't have done it without you!

@@crazytoco123 there is no 2010 version. But you can run the 2009 version and it works just fine

It would be amazing if you could go more in depth into the SST tuning and process. What to monitor and what the solutions of each is. I've learnt a lot from watching your videos. I have the engines running prime now just wanting to keep the SSTs alive. There is alot of tables and I have two of the darn things Haha.

i would tell you to know that there is no clutch on the planet that lives forever. drive on sport mode for slower clutch wear. there is a detailed "what each table means" on evo m. this is dedicated to sst tables. and you would monitor clutch speed, slip , temp, input shaft speed for tuning.

Hi, I Have an Evo X MR with Bolt on mods, factory ECU and factory Intercooler everything else is aftermarket. Just want to ask what aftermarket ecu do you recommend for these cars? there is a shop here in Australia that recommend the Syvecs S7 Plus ecu but the price tag on that is a new built SST transmission lol
Hey buddy, thanks for all the videos you are very knowledgeable and respected. I have a 13 Evo X MR with a 10 disc upgrade from jacks transmissions here in Colorado. Well I just got a tune from my local tuner and the car just doesn’t seem right and I was hoping I could ask you some questions. My idle for one is rough it goes from 1k to 500 to 1400 very often. It almost sounds like it’s going to stall and once in a while the power will take a while to acknowledge after I let go of the brake. Second when I am daily driving and I have the foot on the gas but not complete open throttle there is hesitation like jerking if that makes sense. And last I went from no engine knock to 2 engine knock according to Cobb V3. I hope you can help my tuner isn’t really responding. Mod list 91 pump gas ETS UPGRADED MAF HOUSING ETS 4’in IC along with lower and upper pipe ETS intake new filter 10 disc upgraded and rebuilt tranny ETS Recirc DP ETS high flow cat HKS high power dual exhaust Upgraded relays fuel Etc Thanks for you time any chance you do an Etune?

Hey brother! Love the channel and content! I have one question, have you ever experienced fuel sender issues with using e85 on an x? I heard people have had them go bad over time but I've been on E for 1000 miles and just got a fuel sender CEL. I cleared it and it seems to be working fine so far. Fuel level sensor "a" circuit high is what it says

I never seen that issue related to e85. When I did get that dtc it was always a bad sending unit or improper install
From your experience, which one do you prefer evo x MR or Evo x GSR? Do you mind making a video of the things to look out for when tuning either of them? Thank you sir!

@Curlyheadrae24 I'd go for the gsr and take the extra money to switch to an exedy and other mods. Coming from an MR owner that sst is a money pit. I had mine also built by kozmic for 5 to 600hp and the whole process is pretty expensive. You can find the GSR for cheaper and for the most part do the clutch job at home whereas the SST and fluids are a headache
Is it good to replace the fuel pump relay on Evo 8/9 or just an issue with the X's?

What is the better 50/50,100% out or recirculate ? My Evox mr has stock bov

Recirculate. The ecu relies on a load calculations from the MAP and MAF sensor. When you blow off to atmosphere, itll toss the MAF load calculations out. You'll notice BD mentions this on his test drive where he says at a certain point it uses the MAP calculation.

Thanks Mitch, someone is paying attention lol. Yes if ur running maf , it's better to run recirculated bov. Which means 0 % vented like tial qr.
The gearbox went on mine today. Built box- dodson clutch packs, shift forks etc. 6k and still unreliable. It won't select gear 4 and randomly selects gears - service light on dash. Torque damper gone?? Trouble with these units is they have to many bad parts. Torque damper, valve body, etc.. all crazy money.

@@cod4ipodwaw it was built in uk by indigo gt. It actually seems to have sorted itself out now! Won't select gear 4 until up to temperature, then selects it ok. Returns code P1879 gear block 4.

@@johnhischak4239 2011 59k. I have a feeling the gear 4 clutch might be the issue. I read dodson clutchrs are prone to warping and make the synchro work very hard. The fault occurs less frequently nowadays but still crops up from time to time.

Can you have bolt ons and cams with stock turbo and no issues??
