    In my opinion, everybody should be careful what they put in their body whether it is fillers or even medication. My father was given a prescription medication when he was in the hospital and he was allergic to it. It affected his liver the same was as alcohol does. By the time the doctors figured out the problem, it was too late to help him. After he passed, the doctors told us that it affects one in a million people.

    I’m so sorry this happened. My dad had elective surgery to remove very early stage colon cancer, and it went horribly wrong. He passed away a month later after complications. I went through breast cancer in 2016 and had a mastectomy on my right breast. A few years later after my treatment was over, I had an implant done for both breasts so that they would look even. I was given the choice of smooth or textured and as by law, my doctor (one of the top 3 at Princess Margaret Hospital (PMH) in Toronto, Ontario) said she has to tell all her patients that recent studies showed years later that ppl who got the textured implants got cancer and but she said that is a 1% chance and she's never had any of her patients effected by this cancer. Mind you, she is no senior doctor in her 60's. I chose the smooth bc I said, no way am I taking that 1% chance. She did tell me, that textured is a better choice to help the implants from flipping. One of my other friend, her smooth implants do flip all the time and her doctor told her, she did nothing wrong and she is part of the top 3 doctors from PMH and not the same one I saw). The following year, the textured implants got banned. Then, not too long after, I got a letter stating that ban. I was shocked as to why I got this letter when I got the smooth implants. This was right before the pandemic. I have been too scared to call my doctor til this day, to ask if she used the wrong implants and used a textured. I went into my file online and read, and I am no doctor but I think I read, it was textured on one side and smooth on the other. Does such an implant exist? I still have to go back and see her to get my nipples done or created which she said she can do. Does an implant exist, that is textured on one side and smooth on the other? If it is, I want them OUT. My reconstruction was the lattismus dorsi flap. I did have a choice of DIEP and kind of wish I went with that instead. I hate the way my implants feel. It is hard as rock where I had my mastectomy. I hope you get to read this and respond.

    What is the gummy bear implant considered? Would it be textured? Could you talk about this type of implant? Edit: I just looked it up and it is considered a textured implant, a silicone textured implant. So that would be on your no no list. I'm glad I watched this video because I always thought the gummy bear implants were Superior to all other implants. So with me telling other people to get them or me getting them myself well that would have been horrible cuz they cause cancer. So thank you for your video.💜

    Gummy bear implants and textured implants are not the same thing. The "gummy bear " refers to the material that is inside the implant, which is sticky and not liquid. The textured implant refers to implants that have a sandpaper-like external shell. Most gummy bear implants have a smooth shell.

    I have an important question: I had textured breast implants for 6 years, one broke so I changed both for the plane smooth ones but the doctor didn’t remove the capsules of tissue around the implants that the body makes to protect them. Does this still means a risk of developing cancer or as I don’t have the textured implants anymore that risk isn’t there? I hope you answer my question because I really trust you. Thank you very much for your videos!

    Realistically, there's always a risk of developing cancer no matter what we do or avoid. Cancer is so scary, so I understand the concern you're having. I wish I could answer your question a medical professional would be able to, but I only have minimal knowledge since my grandfather passed away fighting 3 to 4 different cancers. Though it's been speculated that he developed most if not all of the cancers he was fighting from exposure to agent orange during the Vietnam War.

    I think a periareolar or donut lift depends on the patient. I myself was tuberous preop and had areola surgery as well as anatomical implants (which are Sientra high cohesive gel anatomical implants, that yes are textured, this is needed so they don't rotate) to fill in the lower pole, I had very little lower pole preop which is common for tuberous deformity. While, yes I have scars around my areolas, it's mainly only noticeable to me and my areolas have not enlarged much at all, they are similar to the size I was post op. Now, I had this surgery when I was 30, I had been researching it since I was 20... it took me a decade to finally do it. I consulted with multiple surgeons and went with one of the best for correcting tuberous breasts in the US. He has an office in Beverly Hills and Scottsdale. I'm still 100% happy with my results 6+ years later. For those of us that had deformities it's necessary. I do however think someone should do their research and consult with multiple surgeons that specialize in what they want done before making a decision... as well as NEVER go with the cheapest out there. Surgery is never something to go cheap with. I definitely paid on the higher end at the time and it was 100% worth it.

    nobody needs a bbl. just change your diet and work out regularly. some peoples bodies just aren’t naturally built like that and that’s ok.

    Check out aguaje It’s dried powder, I used to use it because I didn’t have consistent periods, but instead the thing made my butt huge, one more inch and it’ll look fake . It might seem skeptical but then again why would I bother telling you. Try checking Amazon, read up on it . Or try red maca root. Just try it atleast once, it’s deff less than a bbl.

    honestly if u get into lifting weights & do glute exercises consistently (as well as eating alot of protein & fat) you can grow a natural butt just as big as getting a bbl. its much safer & doesnt cost thousands of dollars.

  • @Sabrina-sx9fl

    @Sabrina-sx9fl

    Жыл бұрын

    Lol no you can‘t in all cases. Firstly, some people don‘t have the genetics for that and are maybe quad dominant which will only or primarily make their legs bigger and thus make your glutes appear even smaller especially if you lose bodyfat around your glutes due to weightlifting and not eating in a calorie surplus. Secondly, the bbl often has such a specific look. Widest part of the hips is set extremely high and around the genital area in contrast to natural body anatomy were the widest part is actually in the middle of the quads, if trained. Otherwise slightly higher. Plus reduction or totally removing hip dips. When you weightlift you‘re going to exaggerate the appearance of hip dips due to quad and glute growth because there just isn‘t any muscle in that area that can hypertrophy to fill in the dips and the surrounding area (quads/glutes) getting larger makes the contrast bigger. So it‘s a false promise that working out will make your butt as big or look like a bbl butt. But if you don‘t like the fake look then weightlifting is 100% the best option.

    I appreciate this video Dr. Youn but I have to disagree with the disuasion around having a donut breast lift. I had this procedure performed in April and my nipples are still beautiful, have barely any visible scaring that has not widened or thickened nor has the size of my nipple spread significantly since my surgery date. I would note however, that my breasts were pretty small with a little laxity so maybe that helped and I also taped my scars religiously for three months after and still tape from time to time some days which has kept my scars thin and flat ❤ 😊 My only advice to patients would be to make sure and find a surgeon, like mine, who is highly skilled and performs a lot of the same kind of procedure you are looking to get.
