"Back in the day" there was a strong rumor going around that Michael Jackson's face was falling apart because he had had so many procedures done in his attempt to look like Donna Summer and eventually they all collapsed like a pile of dominoes. Maybe you could do an episode analyzing how Michael Jackson's face "degraded" over time and possible causes for this to happen? I have also heard that there could be a natural cause for this to have happened to him. Some clarity would be nice...

I didn't grow up during that time, but I know he grew up being abused and mocked by his father because he was ugly and had a big nose, and ugly face, etc. His dad was very abusive and I think it was something he kept trying to correct and correct until he thought he was finally "beautiful" or "handsome". In his book he wrote about his life, he talks about growing up in the jackson five, and people also calling him ugly because of teenage acne, and him growing out of being a little boy. He described it as some people seeing him as a creature..I think the Donna summers allegation was just another slander against his name. I truly feel sorry for him... may he continue to rest in peace.

It does explain a lot - and it’s a very rare example of medicine being biased toward women. Just a reminder that we need to collect data from a representative sample of people, not just white dudes or rich white ladies (who could afford the first facelifts, where they collected all their data, for example).

My wife and I were both addicted to Friends and I always thought that Courtney Cox was, by far, the most beautiful woman on the show. The changes she made became obvious in the later episodes and I thought she was making a huge mistake, it seemed like she was having procedures to correct a mistake and then got caught up in a cycle until it was too late. I saw her in person in San Francisco after a lot of the work and it broke my heart to see what she had done to herself and how it made her look. Interestingly Jennifer Aniston was one of those people that became more beautiful as she aged and then made the mistake of thinking she needed to look younger and got caught in that viscous cycle.

The story I read was this Argentinian doctor arrives in LA and quickly becomes toast of the town, the plastic surgeon to see. In the beginning, he was raking in the money and A-listers were lining up. Eventually, his medical grade supplies run out and instead of reordering more products, he went to home depot or diy store. And then Priscilla Presley becomes the unfortunate victim of not having medical grade silicon and fillers for her procedures but building materials injected into her face… there was a patient on Botched that had concrete injected into their face too.

I had a friend in 1972 who had silicone injected into her cheeks. Her cheeks got unnaturally bumpy and some of the silicone migrated to her chin, which looked like a big Irish potato had suddenly grown on it. Somehow she got her face fixed though, even though in was early in plastic surgery. (She got giant breasts too, but that's another story.) 🔹🔹🔹

He's going light on the silicone butt (or anywhere) injections. Over time the areas get hard, you get strange pains, flu-like symptoms - it's bad. And when you finally can get the surgery to get it out of you (find a doc who will do it and it isn't cheap) as he says but doesn't elaborate on, it has to be CUT out of your behind, as in, they slice deep and lay your buns open to get to and dig and scoop out all the silicone - and after you heal you have a Frankenstein behind - long scars, lop-sided, indentations.

Daniel Tomas Fuente Serrano was from Argentina, and posed as a doctor. He was not. Also known as "Dr. Jiffy Lube", Serrano was a charming, handsome guy--and a con-man who quite literally infiltrated the exclusive and private social network of Beverly Hills. For cash, he performed low-grade silicone injections (said to be similar to motor oil) at Hollywood house parties, including at the homes of Lionel Richie's ex-wife Diane (who later dated Serrano) Shawn King (wife of Larry King), Priscilla Presley, and realtor-to-the-stars Elaine Young (former wife of actor Gig Young). There were many others. Most women suffered chronic pain, facial paralysis, nerve damage, facial sink-holes, tumors, etc. Many suffered permanent disfigurement. A number of victims got together and pressed charges against Serrano--and won. After serving 18 months of prison time, Serrano was deported back to Argentina in 2007. The guy was a monster.

Is this channel starting to become one of those changes that constantly recycle their content, reupload old videos as new and beastly turn into their own content farm? Treating all you viewers like goldfish with no long-term memory. I think it destroys the trust of your viewers. If something is uploaded, it is supposed to be new. A d you think it's going to be new a d relevant. But then I am wasting my time rewatching something just to make sure it is really old.
