@@mememe5196 Oof, condolences. I had to get my whole mouth done, half at a time, over the course of 2 years because I pretty much pegged my dental insurance with the procedure, and the recovery isn't much fun. Luckily I was young and resilient enough to get Alloderm grafts. I can't imagine how awful soft palate grafts feel.

I have dip hips and I only found out recently that apparently it is such a big deal among women. Like women "must" have big boobs/butt. Apparently hip dips are hideous and women "must" get rid of them. Love your body the way it is and leave it alone.

That's a stupid invention to make women pay to "fix" that. I honestly, honestly think that that dip looks beautiful! If anything, it shows off the thighs. And I'm not compensating, I do like it: when I draw (I'm a complete amateur), I often draw these. When I learnt it's promoted as "ugly" I was indignant! I don't think round hips are less beautiful, there are lots of variations which are not inferior to others, but these dips are lovely, they almost look like they welcome a loving hand to hold these hips!

My hair was falling out by the fist full. I thought it was because I had changed my diet and was losing weight, but it didn't stop. My husband mentioned the DMDM Hydantoin lawsuit to me so I changed shampoo and conditioner to ones that didn't have it in it and my hair loss stopped instantly. Like.. just like that. I guess I had developed a sensitivity/allergy to it over the years or something? I don't know, but I don't use anything that has that ingredient in it.

Can vouch for the botox thing at the end. I get botox for my cerebral palsy treatment rather than cosmetic, but while I'm afraid of needles [completely irrational, it really doesn't hurt me so bad but I always feel like the next time would be the exception] I can keep it largely under control during the treatment, and the doctor always tells me I'm a tough gal because he's gotten large muscular men like twice my size in his office that have hit or kicked him in panic during their treatments.

I'm 52 and that little 5' 2" - 100 pound person that is going to offer an arm and watch what is happening. 🤣🤣🤣 I began donating blood at 16 and had four children - I can take a needle like a champ. But, being anemic with very low blood pressure, I've hit the ground from losing blood from a cut. Everyone thought I was scared of the sight of blood until I explained how the heart worked. Thanks for making my day before I leave for work.

I used to have a roommate who was covered in tattoos and one day he needed to go to the blood clinic for blood work and asked me to go with him (pre covid) because he was scared of needles. I was like...dude..like 30 percent of your body is tattooed...which uses needles. He was like those are different. So I went with him and held his hand while he had blood drawn. I didn't make fun of him for it because I am not fond of needles either (i have no tattoos but I do have to get blood work done on a semi regular basis..necessary evil) But yeah that confused me.

Reminds me of how my dentist had me referred to get braces to make my smile look better because I had some crowded teeth, which I never asked for nor cared about. So I had to deal with all the pain and fuss of having braces for years, as well as having my jaw brought forward. When the treatment was finally done and they were removed my teeth looked photoshopped, I hated it. So of course I had no motivation to keep up with wearing the retainer. My teeth shifted and now they're in a worse position than before and it's causing problems I never originally had.

I had refused the pain meds because it meant a needle in the spine, and I knew I couldn't stay still while they did that. I always jump if I can't see the needle and brace myself. The birth was fine. And the doctors agreed that it wouldn't have been safe if I jumped as they were putting the needle in my spine for the pain med drip. Yes, I have completely forgotten the actual word for that. Aspasia sucks.

As we age the teeth become longer and the gums recede and you’ll regret rushing that along. I used to do these surgeries but mainly on children for ortho reasons.

I get botox once every three months for migraine prevention so head, neck and shoulders and usually 27-47 injections amd sure it stings a little but you kinda get used to it. I pay $1100NZD (New Zealand dollars) for it once every three months because it's not a govt funded medication just yet. Most people here dont have health insurance because we have a free public system so I pay for it myself. My neurologist does the injections and she follows a migraine protocol. The injections are done once every three months. The pain is bearable when doing the injections but I close my eyes when she does the face ones. She injects my face, head, neck and shoulders using botox or Xeomin brands. um my migraines went from multiple a week to 5 total in the first three years of doing this. As long as I dont miss any treatments im okay but it does wear off amd the migraines return. However there is a new injectable for migraines which also works for some people and is just one injection once a month. its called Emgality.

I'm far from being against plastic surgery, but when you can get those results naturally, I think you've crossed a line. The girl with the bbl could have just gone on a diet to lose the extra fat and done some heavy weight lifting for the glutes and she would certainly have had a similar result instead of undergoing an operation that we know is truly dangerous. But of course the first solution - to go on a strict diet and build muscle - requires patience, real effort and commitment... So she chose the easy solution, immediate results without any effort, which may one day cause her serious health problems (like Fat necrosis..!!).

The girl with the bbl. Her butt went from great to fantastic and her stomach and hips went from fine to fantastic. I agree she didn’t need it but the transformation was outstanding. Her body went from a 7 to 10. It wasn’t about the butt though it was because of her stomach. The girl with the nose job is a person that nose jobs were designed for. She is very pretty but did have a large nose and her results were outstanding. There are so many women that get them and don’t need them. Their noses look great and afterwords, horrible and noticeable. The only thing that is a little deceptive. Assuming she is single, and she meets her husband after the fact. Then he’s wondering why all their kids have huge noses. He’s going to think she cheated on him and then she’s going to reveal her old pictures. After years of marriage and children, and he might feel betrayed and lied to.

Women give birth . . . why would we be afraid of needles?

  • @ElliotLowell

I've never given birth and never plan to, but studies show that women have higher pain tolerances due to our bodies. We also regularly deal with blood, but I have met women that are afraid of needles too.

Wait a minute... Dr. Youn first said the girl who had the nose job was a "beautiful gal" and didn't need her nose done. Then, at the end of the "before and after" he said; "...and to show how horrible she looked initially." Huh? You said she didn't need her nose done, Dr.Youn. Which is it?
