Most underrated legend imo. Not enough people talk about him n give him credit. Also has an inspirational story since he was a former math teacher. Im happy that ONE does and gave him a high position in their company

Dynamic striker to say the least, how he mixes up all his shots and just wails on his opponents is just incredible to watch. He was undefeated from 99-03. He then came back from a lost and became champion. Who knows how different it would of been if Silva was never in the picture.

The thing is at that point there was no striker that could beat Anderson. It's sort of like Pokemon where only a wrestler stood a chance at beating him. Rich Franklin did get a take down in the second fight but his wrestling wasn't a huge threat to Anderson like Chael's and Weidman's or even Dan Henderson's wrestling. So out of all the strikers Rich Franklin did the best. He did much better than Forrest and Bonnar did against Anderson.
