Him fighting Derrick Lewis was like hunting a water Buffalo
I can only imagine how demoralizing it must be for a fighter to have DC on top of them. The guy was so technical, so resourceful and so RELENTLESS. He just never gave his opponents any window to work themselves out of ground control. Amazing.
Man I wonder why DC wasn't commentating on any of these fights

Looking the way the he is and the men he put to sleep, it feels mythical.
A real champion! So explosive, intelligent, an artist with a great attitude, with a warrior's heart. He knows no fear, outstanding for average height and range! DC 4ever GOAT!
The way Cormier sunk the choke on Johnson I've never seen before 💪 5:00 Literally pried his neck up with one arm, held him for a quick sec while sinking in the other arm for a guillotine. Beautiful
I look up to him, great fighter, great father, amazing human being.
The way he slammed Henderson into the ground was unbelievable lol.

He was basically the second best at both divisions at the same time. He's only ever lost to Jones and Stipe, and lost to both twice. His HW record is 15-2 and his LHW record is 7-2 (1NC), only ever lost to champs and dominant champs that are future HOF'ers. Chael said it best once, Daniel Cormier is probably the second best LHW to ever do it and he happens to be so unlucky as to be fighting at the same time as the best to ever do it. But p4p Cormier makes a good argument for being no1.

2nd place in the world is still way more than what any of us will accomplish in our lives. Jones is a cheater. You can tell he never roided himself to the gills. He beat all these men who were on performance enhancers. Sure they dont win them fights but they help reaction time and recovery. So yea who cares he was second to Jones. Daniel will win in life and Jones will not
