:( :( My 10 year old son cried for like 15 minutes straight. We haven't had a relative or pet pass away since he was born, so his literal first experience with death.......was Big Ounce. We watch every video Ben puts out twice a week together on the 85" big screen in the downstairs living room/theater. So, the video from Saturday the 18th of Nov kinda shook him. Everyone was saying Big Ounce and he prayed and prayed Biggerton was ok, so this video was heartbreaking....I can't even fathom the feelings to be honest I can't even imagine...I'm 41 years old, but I didn't have a single animal since I was a kid (hamsters, that ended up being given away both times) until 2012 when we got our dogs, a Boxer named Lokidog, and a Chihuahua/Pomeranian mix named Sophia......so I've never had a pet or animal pass away. Just thinking about it makes me choke up a bit, they're both like 11 and 12 respectively, so I hope and pray that we still have many many years to come with them. I truly wonder how many Black-tailed Prairie Dogs have been rescued or brought home into families because of Ben here, but I bet it's a lot more than anyone can imagine. My whole family, including my wife, want a little guy so bad now. He would get 24/7 attention, and we actually have a gigantic open field on our property where it would be quite easy to fence off an decent-sized area for him to frolic in and dig his tunnels. Sorry for your loss Ben. I know this is like, comment 24k and I doubt a sole will read it, but needed to be said anyways. In fact it's becoming pasta, as I go paste it onto Biggerton's Every Yahoo Ever video. Love from forest of Idaho

It's so amazing. It's more than just a cute sound, the fact that it's a sound just made from when they're happy or feeling safe, and he does it so often just from being near Uncle Ben is so fucking heartwarming. Truly Biggerton lived a life of sheer joy once he came to the Urban Rescue Branch.

The fact Biggerton did it so frequently is a testament to the infinitely better life you gave him, and he gave to back to all of us in your vids. Truely the biggest of the ounces, R.I.P 🙏

He was a great addition to this channel, may his soul rest in peace.

I discovered Big Ounce today, fell in love, and wanted to see more. Then I found out he was already gone. Thank you for archiving his life, I didn't expect to have tears rolling today, but life is like that.

He's "only" been part of the Urban Rescue Branch for less than two years, but he truly had a big impact for being such a small creature. Rest easy Biggerton, you and your little yahoos will be missed and fondly remembered

I’m late- but wanted to send my condolences and my thanks. You’re doing amazing things friend, bringing happiness and compassion into a crazy world.

I struggle pretty heavily with depression and when I was at my most low and lonely Big Ounce was there for me, he'd pick up his phone at any time if I needed to talk. He even walked out of Uncle Ben's birthday party to talk because I needed him.... I'm going to miss those late nigh phone calls... RIP Big Ounce, I'll never forget you.

My family and I will never forgot how Big Ounce saved us from a burning RV dangling over the side of a cliff. Not only did he pull us from the wreckage, he also helped us in the following legal battles to sue the RV company, and the government who maintained the road on the cliff. In all seriousness, we will all miss Big Ounce. The day we found out of his passing was a sad one, as we all love this channel and have spent many hours watching and following along. Much love from us here in the Midwest 💙💙💙

This little man was more loved then he could ever know. He brought joy to the world in a way no other prairie dog ever has. His rest is well earned. Sleep well Sir Biggerton Ouncerton. The world will never be the same without you.

Man, I miss this little guy. He was a ball of joy and had the best yahoo's ever. Ben, you gave this little guy the happiest life he could ever have had. He was one lucky little big ounce.

Me and my twenty children will always remember how Big Ounce saved all of our lives and keep the memories of him in our hearts. He saved ten of my kids from Laguna Canyon wildfire, nine from a Wisconsin mine cave in, and one of them from being stuck in a tree (he was a cat). He personally saved me from drowning in Jacob's Well and singlehandedly cured my depression. Rest in peace, Biggerton, you will never be forgotten ❤

RIP, Big Ounce. You made many people smile and brought joy to everyone who saw you. Blessings to you, Uncle Ben! @@maxivy Me and my wife have been crying our eyes out for two days straight - we couldn't even go to sleep last night, sobbing nonstop. I don't know how we are going to go to work tomorrow. I'm a grown ass man, and I can't even remember how many decades I haven't cried like this... I loved the Big Ounce like he was my own pet.

Sorry you lost your favorite little man. He was the coolest prairie dog.

It's crazy how this great lil animal connected thousands of us from across the globe. So much hurt right now but also so much love. I'm hoping all our love is connecting right back to Ben and everyone at urban rescue to help them through their and our loss❤ huge chapter closed this month but I will be remembered great and help shape the many chapters to come. Thank u Ben and everyone at urban rescue and all you other viewers it's a community like this that keeps my hope in humanity❤

In 2008, I was struck by a drunk driver who rolled his Honda civic on top of me and pinned me down by my torso. All my ribs were shattered. Big ounce was driving on the road as it happened, pulled over, and lifted the car off me and performed chest compressions until the EMTs could get there to stabilize me. If it weren't for big ounce I would not be here to write this message. Heartbroken to learn of his passing

I have written a little poem in honor of our beloved Biggerton (in my language) and I would like to dedicate it to all those who have lost a furry companion. It is in another language, but I'm sure he would be able to understand and translate "all by himself". I'll never forget the day Dr. Ouncerton found me stranded on the side of the road after my car ran out of gas as I was in labor and speeding to the hospital. He quickly picked me up and put me in his Ouncemobile that turned into a self-flying helicopter. Unfortunately we didn't make it to the hospital fast enough and Dr. Ounce delivered my baby girl right there in his flying ouncemobile. I ended up naming my daughter after him. Little Ouncely will always know what a hero Biggerton was, and how dear he was to me and my family.

i still remember the day he saved me and my family from the floods... farewell, you hero... RIP

I hope you are doing well Uncle Ben. Big Ounce touched all of our lives, but he touched yours in a bigger way. I hope you are taking care of yourself. There are a lot of animals that need you to be happy and healthy and I think Big Ounce would agree. If you need a break from the videos, please take it. If not, I am very much looking forward to what happens next on the Urban Rescue Ranch. Rest in Peace Big Ounce. ♥️
